Sitting at her school desk that was situated next to her sister, Umi Matsuzaki stared at the H/c haired girl who's attention was captivated by something outside. Leaning a bit towards her sibling the girl followed her gaze and saw that she was staring at a group of boys. Or to be more specific, Shun Kazama
Letting out a sigh, Umi's lips curved into a small smile and she nudged her sister's elbow, gaining her attention
" You should just tell him how you feel" she said
Chuckling, you shook your head and turned your gaze back at the boy " You know I can't do that"
" And why not? I already told you that I'm okay with you two dating"
" You're saying that but I know it won't be easy for you to handle Umi" you breathed out " Besides...I heard he already likes someone"
" So? Maybe it's you" the braided girl tried to sound enthusiastic but her sister could hear the sadness in her voice
" I doubt it"
Standing up you packed your books and other belongings inside your bag " Anyway, since you have to help with the school news paper at the Quartier Latin building, I'll be heading home and start making diner"
Looking at her sibling walking out of the classroom, Umi's smile faltered when she thought about their discussion. Though the rumor about Shun liking someone was truth and no one knew who it was, Umi and the president of the club happened to know that last piece of information
As if it was fate, Shun happened to return Y/n's feelings as the girl he was in love with, was her. However just like her sister, Shun didn't know how she felt about him, which is why he stayed quiet
It was a painful yet amusing thing for his two friends to witness. How he and Y/n tried to keep their attraction to one another discreet but failed miserably
Umi could always see just how much Shun loved her sister. Every time he looked at her, his eyes would sparkle with such gentleness that she couldn't help but smile as well. Even if this situation saddened her, the girl truly wished nothing more then for her sibling to be happy
And so, with that in mind, Umi's downcast gaze turned into a serious one and she hurriedly packed up her belongings and ran outside to have a talk with her friend

Taking a short break from walking uphill the H/c haired girl rubbed the sweat of her forehead and looked at the beautiful sunset. A smile graced her lips as she thought that nowhere in Yokohama besides Poppy hill, would she get to see such magnificent scenery
Letting out a content sigh you resumed walking up hill. The more you approached your grandma's house, the more the wind rose causing your hair to tousle around. It wasn't bothersome but you still had to brush it out of your face every few seconds or else you couldn't see were you where walking
Fortunately after a few minutes, you had finally made it to the top and was only a few feet away from the entrance to the property. Breathing out heavily, you were about to make a jog for the gate when a familiar voice called out your name
Shifting your head around your eyes widen when you saw Shun coming your way on his bike. He seemed to have cycled quite fast as he looked really fatigued
" Shun? What are you doing here?" You cocked a brow " Didn't you have club activity?"
" I-I...Yes b-but I-i w-wanted...t-to...ah g-give me a m-minute" he stepped of his bike, panting
" Take your time" you snorted in your palm at his appearance
Breathing in, breathing out, it took Shun five seconds before he regained his composure and was able to talk properly. And yet...as he opened his mouth to speak and his eyes made contact with your E/c ones, did he not utter a word. His heart was racing at the thought of what he wanted say
Feeling your cheeks heat up because of his stare, you looked down at your shoes " S-so...What d-did you want to tell me?"
Snapping out of his trance, Shun straightened up his posture, cleared his throat and then with a serious expression plastered on his face, looked back at you ones again
" Y/n, I came here to tell you something that has been on my mind for a while"
You nodded
" I...I want you to know that ... " Mustering up all his courage, Shun took one more deep breath before finally admitting his hidden feelings " I like you Y/n"
When those words left his lips, you were first unsure if you had heard it correctly. But upon seeing Shun's broaden smile, did you know that he wasn't lying
Time seemed to stop as everything around you disappeared, leaving only you and your friend together in this huge white clear space
Although words could not describe how happy you felt in that moment it only lasted for merely ten seconds when you suddenly thought about your sister. Slowly, the excitement in your eyes began to falter and replaced itself with a dishearten one
Noticing this change, Shun's smile didn't leave as he remembered how Umi had predicted this. Letting out a soft lip sealed chuckle, the boy gently grabbed your hands making you jolt and peer up at him
" It's alright" he said " I know"
" Y-you mean?"
Nodding his head, the boy tighten his grip " She told me"
Knowing Shun would never lie to you, a breath you didn't know you were holding in left your lips before a smile reappeared on your flushed face
After having a crush on this person for nearly a year but not saying anything as you didn't want to hurt your beloved sister, her it was, the moment you had always been waiting for
With nothing holding you back, you intertwined your fingers with Shun's before saying the four words
" I like you too"
