Chapter 10: Invasion: Part 1

(2 Weeks Later: Watch Tower)

All core members of the Justice League were sitting at the table for a meeting, the core members being Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz) and Martin Manhunter

"It's been a while since we all had a meeting? Seeing as we're busy and all." Flash stated leaning in his chair "Barry, this isn't just a simple meetup, me and Bruce did some research and we fear that Brainiac is coming back." Superman said and everyone else were surprised "Are you two sure? We destroyed Brainiac after our last encounter." Wonder Woman stated "Brainiac's programming is unpredictable, he can always come back, and after a mission me and Clark had on Kandar, we found some of his programing left behind in old archives." Batman said "Well if that's true, we'll be ready for him." Flash said then red flashes went off "We're being attacked! Jessica and Diana, you're with me!" Batman said and the three ran down the hall, Flash face palmed himself "I hate being proven wrong." Flash stated "Not now Barry, we have to go to the docking bay, You're with me and John." Superman said and they quickly made their way to the docking bay.

(2 Hours Later: Gotham City)

The Batfamily were all on a rooftop just casually hanging out with each other and talking "Tonight's quiet, never thought it could be that way." Red Robin said "For once Drake, we agree." Robin said "Don't worry guys, something interesting will happen soon." Nightwing said "Highly unlikely, I am bored out of my skull, what about you Cass?" Spoiler asked but saw Black Bat on her phone texting and giggling, Spoiler rolled her eyes but smiled knowing what her best friend was doing, "Who are you texting Cass?" Red Hood asked taking off his helmet and Black Bat jerked her head up "No one." Black Bat said and Red Hood left it at that "What the hell?" Red Robin said and pointed to the sky and saw a jet falling out of the sky, the jet crashed into the streets, thankfully not hurting or killing anyone, the Batfamily jumped off the rooftop and landed in the streets and ran towards the crash, the door busted open and Batman holding a wounded Flash limped out and Green Lantern held her side in pain "Bruce, what happened?" Nightwing asked and Batman looked at the sky "Brainiac." Batman said and a giant skull like ship appeared in the skull and other ships half the size appeared, then a hologram of Brainiac appeared "Lifeforms of Earth, Brainiac has returned...and my purpose is to once again add your planet to my collection...resist and your fate will be sealed." Brainiac said and multiple robots started appearing on the streets of Gotham "Everyone, fall back! We need to regroup." Batman said and everyone one followed.

(New Mexico)

Deadpool was shooting multiple robots while protecting a family that were in the streets, "Run! I can't hold them forever!" Deadpool said dodging a blast and throwing a grenade at several robots, destroying them, the family quicky ran away and Deadpool teleported onto and saw multiple robots firing at him "Great! A alien invasion, I love my life!" Deadpool said sarcastically and turned to fire several rounds at the robots behind him, Deadpool then teleported onto a roof and saw the city almost destroyed "Damnit!" Deadpool said "We need to find grandma!" the yellow voice said "Yeah, and slap the writer for putting us in this situation." the white voice said and Deadpool flipped off the roof and teleported away.

(Al's Apartment)

Deadpool busted through the door to see Al sitting in the chair "What's happening, Alex?" Al said "I'll explain grandma, but we need to leave." Deadpool said and carried his grandma down the building.

(Alleyway)

Deadpool and Al were on Deadpool's motorcycle and he started the engine and started driving off, "We need to get somewhere safe." Deadpool said but more robots started shooting at them "Shit!" Deadpool said and quickly made his motorcycle maneuver all the shots, Deadpool made sure Al was still on the motorcycle "Are you okay?" Deadpool asked "Yeah, baby." Al said and Deadpool drove as fast as he could out of New Mexico.
