When I wake up I'm wrapped in Aiden's arms. And very grateful for his existence. I don't want to move so I just lay there. "Babe, you're going to have to talk to me sooner or later." he says telling me he's awake. I just pull him closer and inhale all of him. "I know." I whisper into his shoulder. It's now that I realize if I had to choose between the two I'd choose him. I suppose it's easier to think about that than it is the baby. "Catch me If I fall?" I ask him. "Always." he whispers into my hair, kissing my temple. I take my time filling him in on what Natalie told me. Fighting back tears the entire time.
