Jungkook was in a daze. He was confused and he didn't quite know what was going on.

One minute they were at the interview, everything was seemingly fine and everyone was getting along, the next minute, his girlfriend and his hyung were angrily going back and forth.

From what he understood from the translations they were given, the interviewer had been a bit rude to Narae and she hadn't taken it well, thus the current situation where they were arguing.

Whilst he agreed with the essence of what Namjoon was saying, he also knew it was unlike Narae to react in such a way – she normally kept a cool head in all situations.

He was torn between backing his bandmate of almost ten years and coming to the aid of his girlfriend, but Narae had made the decision for him before he could sort his thoughts out when she had left with Taehyung.

Following her departure, the room was silent for a few minutes before Yoongi broke it with a sigh as he rubbed his temples. "Well Namjoon, that only made things worse."

"Was I supposed to keep quiet? You all saw what happened in there!" Namjoon responded in agitation.

"Yeah we did, only difference is we didn't immediately jump to the defence of a guy that we barely know." Yoongi muttered under his breath.

Usually he would have said it out loud for the others to hear clearly, but he knew Namjoon was in no position to listen to reason just yet. The situation was already bad enough as it was, he didn't want to make it worse.

Jin sighed as well, "Well what are we going to do now? The interview is definitely over and Narae's gone."

"Wait for the car and go home. Taehyung and Narae took the big one so we stay here until it returns to pick us up." Jimin said, the voice of reason.

The others agreed, Jungkook still keeping quiet. His mind was in turmoil, and he wasn't sure what to do. He decided to first send a few messages to Narae to check if she was okay. He trusted his hyung's judgement but of course, he was still worried about her. He'd never seen her so upset before.

Namjoon swore out loud, causing them all to look at him as he paced the room angrily whilst staring at his phone.

"For fuck's sake! This is exactly the shit that I didn't want to happen!"

"What is it now?" Hoseok asked wearily.

"Bryan has gone and tweeted about the interview and now BTS and RÆ are both trending. Fuck!" Namjoon answered, his thumb scrolling rapidly on his screen as he flicked through comments.

Jungkook's heart began hammering wildly in his chest. Shit, shit, shit. No doubt people would have some unsavoury things to say about the situation. This is exactly what Jungkook had been trying to avoid for the past few months, though under different circumstances. He was getting worried thinking about what they could possibly be saying.

He hoped and prayed that Narae wouldn't be checking her social media – in no way did he want her to see anything bad about herself. He wished the entire thing hadn't blown up to this whole fiasco the way it had.

Namjoon was still ranting angrily as he paced, "I told her, I fucking told her that it would get bigger than just her and now we're in it. If she hadn't acted like such a—"

"I would be very careful about what you decide to say next."

To everyone's surprise, it was Jungkook who spoke the sentence, the tone in his voice one that they had never heard from him before.
