Chapter 18: Villainy Exposed

Leatherhead growled at the villainous woman before him and Mikey as Annette finally drops her fake persona of being the ally.

"I don't understand," Mikey stuttered in utter confusion.

"She's working with Vernon, her own brother, she was pretending to be your friend when really all she's trying to do is lure you into her trap to take you back as the experiment again" Leatherhead explained, glaring at the villain before them.

"And I would've completely succeed if it wasn't for your family's stupid ninja methods or that crocodile sick devotion to you" Annette growled.

"But you said they're not my family" Mikey gasped.

"They are, Michelangelo and I'll prove it now" Leatherhead replied.

He shows his computer which reveals that he has hacked into the Earth Protection Force system and to Annette's surprise, he conducted his own DNA test with Mikey's blood to the original blood.

"How did you-?!" Annette gawked.

"When Michelangelo was hurt, I took a sample of his blood and used it to test the original blood sample on your drive system and lo and behold, the truth" Leatherhead grinned proudly.

Michelangelo looks at the real results that Leatherhead brilliantly done behind the Earth Protection Forces back and it was a positive match.

"It's...a match!" Mikey loudly gasped.

Leatherhead warmly smiles at his love: "See? You ARE the original Michelangelo. The test Annette gave out was a fake"

Mikey felt so much joy and amazement that the real truth has finally been revealed to him but soon he angrily looks at Annette and growled:

"You...You lied to me!!"

"It's always nice to get things out in the open, isn't it" Annette wickedly giggled.

"I knew who she was and what she had planned but I couldn't risk her knowing! That's why I pretended to trust her as well as performing these tasks before her back" Leatherhead explained before he turns to Annette:

"I knew I would be risking my love and his family's lives by allowing you to be with them and I regret it deeply but it was the only way to thwart your schemes! You and your brother were so wrapped up in your search for him that you didn't even bother to notice you had a leak in the facility"

"I see it's time for a system upgrade then when I get back" Annette furiously snapped.

"You'll never take me back to that place!" Mikey snapped.

"Of course we will; you belong to us, you're our property and we have great plans for you, dear Michelangelo" Annette spat.

"What do you mean?" Mikey growled.

"All in good time but if you know what is good for you then you will surrender to us" Annette ordered.

"I will never set foot in that place again, never!" Mikey shouted.

"You don't have much of a choice"

The two mutants turn to see Vernon Strive approaching his sister and glance at the turtle: "You know how dangerous you are; losing control of yourself and attacking those you love, you really wish for that to happen, especially to your family?"

"Nice try Vernon but I know you had your sister spiced up his medication" Leatherhead growled.

"How long have you known?" Annette snarled, getting irritated by the crocodile in front of her.
