Kaila could feel that it had already begun.
Without her. Without her there, or even having a clue as to how to get there.
But that's exactly what Jax wanted.
He wanted her to be safe. Be safe, while he most likely went and got himself killed.
And for what purpose?
To protect her?
Yeah. Most likely.
But protecting her was that last thing she wanted him to do.
Kaila wanted to help take this monster down! For good this time.
She knew what her Master was going to do.
Knew that Jax would know to, but not know how to stop the evil man from letting this happen.
She did something that she had been practicing for months.
She broke into her Master's mind.
Broke through it, like how a S.W.A.T. team would break through a door.
Splinters. Because splinters hurt, especially if it's the mind.
She could feel that it had hurt him.
And that, the pain and hurt alone, might've made up for a little bit of the pain.
But, her Master knew what she cared about the most.
So, in return, she could feel her master.
Feel him hurting her brother. She could feel Jax's screams and cries of agony.
But she wasn't there yet. Not yet.
