Chapter 10: The beginning of the end

It's been a week since you lost your baby girl. Levi has been out in the field leaving you alone at home recovering. Though, you were just getting worse. You would do nothing but lay in bed crying, at least that's all that Levi knew. He hated leaving you home alone with you in such a state of depression and he should have. You've also been harming yourself. You would do this to punish yourself. You felt guilty for not being strong enough to carry your baby and thought it was because you couldn't except the responsibility of being a mother.
"What's wrong with me," you chuckled and walked across your bedroom to you mirror. "c'mon(Y/N) get yourself together. Levi is coming back home today. He's already stressed enough. Don't make him even more worried than he already is." You told yourself and smacked your cheeks to bringing you back to reality.
You decided to clean yourself up and wear some fresh close for Levi. When you opened your closet there was a beautiful, short, white dress with a note on it. You picked up the note, it read:
"Make sure you're wearing this once I get home. You know I love my women in pure white.
Levi <3"
You sighed and grinned a little. Even when depressed Levi always knows how to make you smile, even if it's just a grin. You knew Levi would be home soon so put on the dress and looked at yourself in the mire or. "Ugh, I hate my hair it's so unmanageable." You stroked your locks thinking of something you could do with them to make you look nice for Levi. Then it hit you. You ran out the cabin all the way to wear the scout cabins were. You saw Armin carrying fire would (for some odd reason) and ran over to him.
"Hey old buddy!" You tried to sound as cheerful as possible.
"(Y/N), I see you've recovered well. I'm sorry for the lost," He looked you up and down and noticed your dress. "well well, you look very pretty in that dress."
You have an awkward smile and cut right to the chase. "I hate to stop our talk right here bud, but I need to talk to Mikasa. Have any idea where she is?."
"Oh yeah, she's at her cabin," Armin pointed a finger to the left. "it's right over-"
"Thanks buddy." You padded Armin's shoulder and hurried off. Once you made it to her cabin you let yourself in and Mikasa was sitting at a desk polishing her blades.
"Hey, Mikasa I gotta big favor to ask you!" She turned around and looked at you with her usual nonchalant look.
"What an entrance, doesn't bother to knock or even congratulate me on joining the scouts." She turned back around and continued to polish her blades.
"Oh sorry, congrats Mikasa. The reason I kinda barged in is because I don't have a lot of time." you gave her a big "I'm sorry" smile. She sighed and turned back around.
"Well what do you need?"
"I need you to cut my hair."
