Aria's POV
"Teka lang po," pigil ko sa akmang pag-alis niya kaya tumingin agad siya sa akin at nagtaas pa ng kilay. "Is it their petition or yours?"
"What?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya. Nakita ko pang bahagya siyang napangisi sa tanong ko. Kinakabahan man, sinubukan ko pa ring itanong ang kung anong pumasok sa isipan ko sa mga oras na ito.
"I'm sorry Lord Peterson but I don't mean to judge you kaso po you are creating something on my mind. You are the father of Lady Ylona. If she will be the Queen, you will get the higher position in the government, right?"
"You're saying that I'm doing this because I wanted that position?" Nagugulat na tanong niya.
"We all have our desires, Lord Peterson. Other's are striving for success while you...." nilakasan ko na talaga ang loob ko. Ayokong magpatalo. "You are striving for superiority." maglalakad sana siya papalapit sa akin nang bumukas na ang napakalaking pintuan at bumungad doon ang hinihingal na si Prince Luke kasama si Lady Ylona at ang mga kaibigan ko.
"Hey, are you okay?" Niyakap agad ako ni Luke at napansin ko pa ang pagtingin niya sa buong katawan ko kaya natawa na ako. "H-hey,"
"Okay lang ako," Tipid na ngiti na sabi ko pero mukhang nabasa ng prinsipeng ito ang totoong emosyon ko dahil sumama agad ang tingin niya kay Lord Peterson na mukhang kinakausap din ni Ylona. Ang pinagkaiba nga lang, galit si Ylona.
"What did you do?"
"Your royal highness,"
"I'm asking you," Madiin na sabi ni Luke kaya hinawakan ko na ang braso niya kaso galit talaga siya. "What did you do?"
"I gave her some advice. She need that."
"And who the hell are you to do that?"
"Prince Hayden," Awat agad ni Royal attendant Jeff dahil nga sa ginamit na word ni Luke. Nakita ko pa ang lihim na pagngisi ni Lord Peterson bago muling nag-angat ng tingin sa amin.
"I just told her the right things here in Arpazia. As one of the representative of your royal family, I should protect you and our people."
Napangiti naman agad si Luke. Medyo kumalma na. Minsan talaga hindi ko mabasa ang emosyon niya. Paiba-iba. Naguguluhan ako. "Thanks for your concern Lord Peterson but I know what's better for my country."
"Really? Then for sure you already made your mind because you saw the petitions came from our people?"
"First of all, that's MY people," Maawtoridad na sagot ni Luke. Sa mga oras na ito, masasabi kong Prinsipe nga talaga siya. Kalmado na at mukhang pinag-iisipan ang mga sasabihin. "They have questions, of course. But isn't it normal to have questions especially when were having a new set of representative in a royal family? I mean, they just can't trust as soon as they see us. They always look for the things that a person can do, a things that can benefit them and their country. So, it's understandable for them to submit a petition."
"Think what you wanted to think your highness."
"Since you already said that... I find it weird that you even called my girlfriend here just to discuss something like that. This is the property of the royal family. You know that only the royals can come in here. Hmm... seems like you're already using your power just to make YOUR things in order."
