Twelve - What the Future Holds?

Taehyung: "Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?" He asked as he looked at her to prepare her things.

Jisoo: "For the nth time, it's a no. It's a NO Taehyung." She said, frustrated.

It's early Saturday morning and Jisoo is about to leave Taehyung's place. She's traveling back to her hometown in Daegu to visit her mom.

Jisoo: "We already talked about this. Allow us to have a mother-daughter conversation first, okay? You can probably meet her next time." She explained.

Taehyung: "Alright, alright. I'm just concerned." He answered. 

All he could do is to respect their privacy. Of course, he understands that it's important for her to talk to her mom alone but what can he do? He's all worried. 

Taehyung is leaning on his right side on Jisoo's bedroom door. He watched her prepare her things.

Jisoo was busy with her things when her phone started to ring.

"Mom" It says on the caller ID.

Jisoo reached for her phone and answered the call while Taehyung remained silent as he watched her. His brows furrowed when he noticed the sudden change in her mood. It was evident on her face. 

Taehyung: "What happened?" He asked worriedly as he approach her.

Jisoo just ended the call. With her reaction, he knew that there was something wrong. 

Jisoo: "I-It's mom. S-she's at my dorm." She said stuttering.

It's past lunchtime. Jisoo was with her mom in a restaurant nearby the university. After that quick call this morning, Jisoo met her mom at the dorm and had to go somewhere to talk as she no longer stays there.

If Jisoo can describe her conversation with her mom, it's chaos.

Jisoo has been crying while she was explaining what happened. From how it started up to when she transferred to Taehyung's place. Good thing her mom chose a restaurant with a private room in it so they talk and show their emotions openly.

Jisoo nervously picked up her phone and dialed a number. It didn't take too long for the person she's calling to answer.

Taehyung: "Jisoo." He said as he answered her call.

Taehyung has been waiting for her call. He was nervous and worried. He knew that she was not okay. Jisoo's mom visiting her all came as a surprise. This is not how she planned in telling her mom about the news.

Jisoo: "I-I'm... We-we're going home. Mom wants t-to talk to y-you." She was stuttering.

Time skipped. At Taehyung's place.

Jisoo's mom was sitting across from Jisoo and Taehyung who were sitting side by side. There was an awkward silence in the room. Dara, Jisoo's mom, was looking at the two with a serious face. Jisoo, on the other hand, was looking down, unable to look her mother in the eye while Taehyung was brave enough to look at Jisoo's mom in the eye.
