Scene:

Jisoo was heading to his place this evening to see him. The thought of him really made her cheeks flush red as she blushed. She's going to surprise him with a dinner she personally prepared.

A lopsided smile appeared on her face and she arranged her dress well. Her heart is thumping as usual. Just the thought of him makes her giddy.

She giggled to herself and increased her pace as the rush of adrenaline swept through her veins, sending chills over her. His house isn't far from hers so it's easy for her to get to his place.

Jisoo: "Hi, Tae!" She said happily.

Taehyung who was walking steadily, didn't bother to greet her. He continued walking until he passed by her.

For others, this behavior will make them feel embarrassed but not for Jisoo. Well, she's used to it. But no matter what, no matter how he ignores her, she won't stop showing him what she feels. She likes him so much. She wanted him badly.

Jisoo: "I got you some food! You must be tired from--"

Taehyung: "Stop it. I didn't ask you to do this." He said coldly, interrupting her.

Jisoo: "But I'm happy doing these things. Only for you, just for you, Taetae." She winked at him.

Jisoo looked crazy right now. She was smiling ear to ear, completely disregarding how he was acting towards her.

Taehyung: "And how many times do I need to tell you that you should stop this? Can't you understand what I'm saying? Are you sick in the head?" He blurted out.

Taehyung might have lost all his patience. He's tired of all her acts. He can't seem to understand why she's still pestering him no matter how many times he pushes her away.

Instead of feeling bad Jisoo, who was now facing him, smiled and said.

Jisoo: "You must be tired at work. C'mon. Let's get to your house now so you can eat these while its warm." She said, showing the bag in her hand.

Taehyung: "I said stop!" He yelled.

He's unable to control his feelings anymore. Unknowingly, he slapped her hand away, making the bag in her hand fall to the ground.

Hearing him yell made Jisoo stop breathing. This is the first time he's acting like this. No matter how stubborn she is to him, he never shouts at her. He ignores her all the time and acts like she doesn't exist but this...

Jisoo instantly felt weakened with intense sadness. She was there, standing still, looking at him with a surprised expression.

Jisoo: "But... I-I like you... Taehyung. You know that, right?" She can't seem to get those words out of her chest.

Taehyung: "So?"

Jisoo: "I really like you. Can't you see..." She gasped as she swallowed the bile in her throat.

Taehyung: "I don't feel the same way, Jisoo." He said, not wanting to give her any hopes.

Jisoo: "Why?" She almost whispered.

Taehyung: "I already have someone else." He answered coldly, staring at her.

Rejection is the last thing she will be able to bear. Rejection... again?

Taehyung's words hit her so hard that her legs stumbled back, with tears started falling off.

Taehyung witnessed how those tears roll down her cheeks. He can see the pain in her eyes. She was hurt.

But what else can he do? Words have been said. With that, Taehyung passed by her, leaving her behind.

Jisoo: "Why can't the people I love love me back? Is it too much to ask?" She said to herself as sobs escaped her lips.
