'S' this how it feels... when ya' accomplish your goals?
Makima stood beside him, explaining about the paper works he needs to sign after his battle with the bat devil.
"Hm, even though you killed the bat devil, you look like you're getting punished."

Denji made a noise of agreement and pressed the stamp he's holding down on the paper.
"...Is something bothering you, Denji?"
"Ah, well... Makima, do ya' know the feelin' of finally getting your hands on what you've been chasing after for so long?"
Makima's brows raised, then she smiled.
It's funny, because she thought of you right away.
"Yeah, I know that feeling all too well."
"Ah well... I finally got mine, but once I grabbed them, 's not nearly enough as satisfying...'s not nearly as good as I imagined..."
Denji thought back to what happened last night, and his mind went blank again.

Makima stared at him with her hand cupping her chin, a habit she does when she's thinking.
