"Evening, Hunts." a familiar baritone voice beckoned.

Hunter, who was sat with Cassandra and Meera at the Hufflepuff table in the Great Hall, looked up and was met by Remus. The Moore girl couldn't help but beam at the sight of her friend standing opposite her.

"Hi, Rem! Ready to go?" Hunter asked. It was coming up to 7:00PM, meaning that they were due to start patrol.

"Yes, so long as I'm not interrupting your studies. What's that you're doing?" the tall boy asked, sitting down opposite the two girls.

"Ancient Runes. It's due in Monday." Cassandra answered, her face tinted red. It was no secret that many girls fancied the lanky Gryffindor; he was, after all, rather conventionally attractive.

In addition to this, his facial scars added a layer of mystery to him. Hunter-Rose recognised that her friend was attractive, but she'd never really felt anything towards him. She didn't feel anything towards any of the boys she's knew, not even to Regulus.

She couldn't help but wonder why.

"Ah, I see. Best of luck with that, then. You finished, Hunts?" Remus asked, and Hunter glanced down at her work. She had finished a while ago, but pretended to be checking over her work to allow her friends to catch up.

"Yeah, just finished. I need to put it in my dorm, though." Hunter said, standing up to leave and putting her satchel on her shoulder.

"Oh, don't be silly, I'll do that for you. Go and do your patrol. Have fun, Hunts!" Meera swatted her hand behind her, her strong Welsh accent reminding Remus of his mother.

"Alright, thanks love!" Hunter bid her friends goodbye and walked to the end of the table, where she met Remus.

"Alright, where are we starting?" Hunter asked.

"The dungeons, I'd say. Work our way up." Remus shrugged as they made their way out the hall.

Hunter sighed and adjusted her shirt. That evening, she'd decided to wear orange (a colour that she rarely wore) due to feeling rather autumnal.

Her shirt was a V-neck halter top, and was a light shade of orange. In contrast, her a-line skirt was checkered with darker orange squares paired with white ones. It was a simple outfit for Hunter, yet she liked it.

She was rather cold when she reached the dungeons, though. Maybe she didn't think her outfit through.
