The Warriors returned to the mansion with the key.

"You got it!" Wednesday squealed.

"Good going!" said Pugsley.

"Yeah. We went to heck and back to get this thing" said Calvin.

Uncle Fester saw the kids holding the key and said "Kids! You got the key! Well done! See here, you've done it! Splendid!"

"Thank you, Uncle Fester" said Charles Wallace with a smile.

"All we need to know now is where the door outta here is" said Calvin.

Uncle Fester let out a laugh then said "This key ain't for a door, Calvin! It's to unlock a trunk you need to find".

"A trunk?" said Sam.

"Yeah. You found the key. Now you use it to unlock a trunk" said Uncle Fester.

"Lurch took us to the attic not too long ago" said Sam.

"Yeah! So there must be a trunk to be unlocked amongst all that junk" said Charles Wallace.

Calvin looked up at Lurch's face and said "Is there?"

"I can't say I'm sure" said Lurch.

"Then we got us another mystery. Let's search the attic" said Sam.

"Or we could get Fester here to take us to the trunk" said Calvin.

"Oh, okay! I'll take you to the trunk" said Uncle Fester.

He led the kids back to the attic. This time, Wednesday and Pugsley were allowed to go with them.

"There it is" said Uncle Fester.

Calvin used the key to unlock the trunk and look inside.

"Hunky dunky! Look at all this old junk" said Charles Wallace.

"Yeah... what are we supposed to find in here?" said Sam.

"There's a letter in there to be read, kids. Just find it and read it" said Uncle Fester.

Calvin rummaged through the trunk and found a letter inside a red envelope.

"What's it say?" said Sam.

"It says..." Calvin began.

He read the letter aloud.

I will be home sooner than you think, querido.

I will love you for all eternity.

And tonight at last, we will be together.

I will see you soon, darling.

Forever yours,

Morticia

"Mrs Addams..." Lurch exhaled.

"But that was a long time ago, when she wrote that" said Uncle Fester.
