Black Sabbath played in Nathan's room drowning out the talks across the table in the living room from his parents, grandma and uncle.

Groaning Nathan rolled off his bed
"Cmon Monty" he said to his dog as they walked out the room.

Sitting down beside Thomas Nathan turned to him "what did I do this time?" He scoffs crossing his arms

"What do you think you did?" Y/n looked at him

"I-..I got in a fight" he said looking at the table and no one else.

"How did it happen this time" mama said

"The same thing but you all never believe me." He said before about to get up

"Sit down" Thomas stern voice rang through the house. He was mad.

Nathan stared at him before scoffing
"I hate you"  he ran up stairs slamming his door locking it.

Thomas stared at his sons door from up stairs.
He's heard the word but he never thought it would come out of his sons mouth.

Charlie looked at the two in disbelief
"That is? You two ain't gonna do anything?"

Sighing mama got up
"I'll go talk to him"

Thomas stood up and went downstairs slamming the basement door.

Nathan opened the door looking at his grandma
"Grandma..why won't they believe me? I really didn't start it. I haven't done anything wrong" he said sniffling rubbing his eyes

"Oh honey..you need to tell the teachers rather then just fighting them back." She chuckled a little bit rubbing his back as she sat beside him on the bed

"Are mom and dad angry?" He looked up at her with his doe eyes

She nods a little
"Your mom is dissatisfied and your dad..well he's angry and sad about two things"

Nathan scoffed
"He's so sensitive I did nothing wrong" he laid back on the bed looking up at the ceiling
"Bubba..you told him you hate him."
Mama turned and looked at him sternly

"You should never say that word to anyone. Hate is a strong word. And never say it to your parents or family"

Nathan got back up
"I should go talk to him"
Mama nods "you need too"

Walking down stairs with mama he made sure she made it to a chair before going to find his dad

Opening the basement door he walked down the stairs "dad?" He called walking down

Thomas was cutting up some beef meat
He ignored his sons call.
Sighing Nathan walked towards him sitting in his chair "dad?" He looked up at him

"Hm" Thomas said still focusing on the meat
"I- I'm sorry" he put his head down

Thomas just nods
"Ok"

Nathan looks up at him before slowly wrapping his arms around his dads torso and snuggling into him "please I'm really really sorry"

Thomas chuckled a bit looking down at his son before picking him up
"I love you" Nathan kissed his dads cheek
"Love you" Thomas said lowly patting his sons back with one hand

"You need to take a shower dad- oh and mom is calling you"
