Mama sat the food on the table and they all held hands to eat. Nathan loosely held Thomas hand. Charlie glances to the two males before praying.
"So how was everyone's day?" Mama said looking up breaking the awkward tension
Thomas stared up at Nathan across from him Nathan's glared at him before rolling his eyes turning his attention to his grandma "How was yours, Grandma?"
Mama smiled brightly "Well I -" she started to talk about her day going on at what she seen. Thomas kept staring at Nathan, y/n put his hand under the table and laid it on Thomas thigh rubbing it soothingly
Monty came running in the house with a bone that looked weirdly like a human Remain "What's that?" Nathan grabbed the bone from his mouth his tail wagging
He turned to the family as they all stared at each other with a look he couldn't understand "Mom?" Nathan turned to you
Y/n chuckled a little "Uhm Im not sure it's probably nothing continue eating" she tried to change the subject
Monty kept barking grabbing onto Nathan's jacket sleeve getting up "What is it boy show me" Nathan said
They all ran out after him before all 5 of them stopped in there tracks looking at the holes in the back of the house with bones all laid around Turning around Nathan stared in horror at his family
"What is this?!" He yelled going to the holes seeing a human skull
Nathan had a flash back seeing Thomas and hoyt digging holes before putting juman remains with meat attached to it still.
Blinking his eyes he stared at him family "What are you?" Nathan said walking back slowly at Thomas and hoyt moved to him
Y/n cried "honey come back" she put her hands out
Nathan ran- he ran and ran as fast as he could going into the woods.
"Cmon boy get out here" he heard Hoyt in the distance "we need to have a long talk" he added sighing
Nathan stared at Hoyt from behind a tree, about it move he turned around only to be met with Thomas. His huffs and puffs and airy breaths looked like smoke in the cool night sky. "Dad?..." he mumbled
Nathan heard beat faster and faster he was hyperventilating. His eyes closed and he slouched leaning on his dad Thomas grunts before picking Nathan's body up over his shoulder
He remembers picking Nathan up when he was a kid..how fun it was.
Thomas was seated by Nathan's bed and watched as his chest rose and fell from breathing. Y/n was scared. she didn't know how to tell him hell she didn't know how she was gonna explain. None of them did.
Thomas pushed Nathan's hair out of his face, Sighing he looked up to see Charlie leaning on the door "he ok?"
Thomas nods a little looking back at Nathan
Charlie nods a bit
