Moving at speeds faster than the normal eye can see, twisting and turning between trees like a river of lethality, only seeing his after-images after he slows momentarily to turn.

Where the dust meets the swirling wind lies the corpses of monsters, lifeless and ravaged. They did not see him coming, no reaction, no sensing him. All they knew was that suddenly, they knew nothing. He leaves only the wind and dust to follow his footsteps.

Vosh was in a good mood. His level was going up fast and he could feel something vaguely within his avatar that wasn't there before, taking a shapeless form.

He could tell because he could sense the source of this shapeless thing was coming from the monsters he was killing. Some form of essence would go from their bodies into him.

He did not quite understand it but it was what was giving him stat increases everytime he leveled up.

"It's as if something crucial for existences to have in this world is taken by others to strengthen their own..... Whatever the source of that strange essence is in their bodies." Vosh thinks to himself while slashing apart various animals a second after another.

It was as if these beings weren't moving when they saw him, as if frozen in time others were moving very slowly, but it didn't make a difference to Vosh.

"Give up and become my exp." Said to a wolf that actually noticed him and started running. He walked towards him then poked a hole through his head with his index finger. He walks off, leaving the wolf suspended in the air.

Shivers went down Vosh's spine, his hands started shaking, all colors around him vanish and suddenly, something speaks

"Human..... You dare?" It says to Vosh as he struggles to process what that sound was.

To Vosh the atmosphere changed out of nowhere, for no reason, by a being he couldn't even see.

"Is this God again?" Vosh asks, hoping it really is just God coming back to alert him of something or ask him questions. But even with such hopes Vosh could tell that it wouldn't be that simple of a solve.

"God? That man is dead." The voice said.

Vosh replies, "No. I spoke to him a few hours ago. He seemed pretty fine."

"Oh great, another overly religious crackhead." The voice disappointingly says.

"Religion? What's religion? Isn't God the system that this world uses to quantify individual stats? Is "religion" the real name of God?" Vosh asks quizzically.

The voice pauses for a moment then replies, "Is this some philosophical sales pitch? What are you talking about?"

Vosh puts a hand on his chin trying quickly think of a way to explain what happened. "This isn't the real me, this is an avatar. I am actually a being that was born from the void outside of this existing reality. I came to this world to seek answers for something I don't think you may be able to fathom as a being behind the wall. But anyway, I came into this world and the moment I did I got a message from the system that claimed to be "God" it also gave me some titles like [Foreigner] and [God's Chosen]."

"So you are the new chosen one of God? And am I supposed to believe all that? Listen kid....." The voice suddenly manifests itself in a specific direction behind Vosh.

Vosh turns around to see a woman standing there, doing nothing but staring at him fiercely, as if trying to take his life with a glance alone.

"I am the one who killed God. There are no more chosen by him. He is dead and so will you be for desecrating his title with such deception." She whips back her dark greyish brown hair. Her red pupils seem illuminated but from a glance you could see the bags under her eyes as if she hadn't slept in the longest time.
