Imagine dating Stefan and being Jeremy's sister, which is why Stefan feels the need to protect him at all costs

Stefan gave a hand to Jeremy, and you smiled as you watched from the side. You were Jeremy's older sister, though only with one year, and Stefan's girlfriend. You and him had been dating for six months now, and to celebrate that, in a way, you had attended a fight between the bad and the good guys. In Mystic Falls, something like that was pretty much always going on so it was inevitable, even on your happy day of being six months together. 

"I'm not some puppy, you know that, right?", Jeremy asked while he rubbed his aching neck. Stefan laughed, and gave a look to you before turning over to Jeremy. He opened his mouth, ready to say something while he pushed his fingers through his silky hair, but you interrupted.

"Yes you are, Jer", you giggled, and received a glare from your little brother. Stefan patted his shoulder, and Jeremy let out a moan - clearly he had been hit there. 

"Do you need any blood to fix that?", Stefan asked, worried once again. You smiled widely, you were so happy he was protecting your brother. You weren't a vampire, either, so it was nice to know someone with greater powers than you could keep an eye at Jeremy. You worried about him sometimes, especially with him being obsessed with all the supernatural stuff and insisting on coming with you guys everywhere. You were a witch at least, so you weren't as easy to catch and kill as Jeremy.

Jeremy glared at Stefan, and spat a no, as if he didn't enjoy the way he was being treated. But then again, maybe it made him feel like a little kid, like he was still that young boy that needed help with everything. He wasn't, though, he was growing up and you knew it. He was already so mature, with all his muscles and plans for the future. Sometimes it made you emotional, but right now all you wanted to concentrate on was Stefan hovering over him.

You started to walk towards Stefan's car that he had driven to get you to the right location, and as you were about to enter the car, you could hear Stefan talking to Jeremy. You glanced at them, and noticed how he was having a hand on Jer's shoulder, and looking at him with a friendly smile.

"You should know that I want to protect you, because I love Y/N and I want her and everyone she loves to be safe. Since I am capable of protecting you, I want to do it, instead of regretting my choices if you'd die. I couldn't live with the fact I could have done something to save you from a very potential death, so please accept my help, Jeremy. You're a nice guy and I want you to be safe and happy", Stefan said and patted his back gently before walking towards the car where you sat with a smile on your face.

Stefan was truly a very sweet guy.

And you saw that Jeremy smiled as well, and seemed to accept Stefan's kindness. It made you happy, all you wanted them to do was to be close and get along, and that seemed to be definitely happening.
