Imagine going to a Halloween party with Klaus
You weren't one to love couple stuff, but when it came to Halloween, you were all about it. You were a huge fan of the event, and you always dressed up for a party that your friends were known for having - it made you actually kind of proud, since their big Halloween party was one of the biggest happenings of the year in their hometown. You didn't live there, though, but you always made your way there, it was an event you could not miss.
For a long time, you went alone and dressed up alone, but this year, you and Klaus Mikaelson had fallen in love, and as you shared your first kiss, all you could think about was how great you'd look on Halloween. Tons of ideas came to you, and starting from April, you had been planning on the perfect costumes for you, and Klaus. And it was going to be great.
"What the bloody hell, Y/N? I cannot believe you're making me wear this. You're lucky I love you...", you heard Klaus mutter from the bedroom as you stared at yourself from the bathroom mirror. It was the evening of the big Halloween party, and you two were putting on the costumes, which you had ordered like two months ago. You were super excited, but concluding from Klaus' tone, he was rather irritated than pleased by your choice for the costumes.
"Joking? Me? On this? You wish", you chuckled and looked at yourself from the mirror, twirling around on the the floor to get a good look. You looked absolutely dashing in your tight, but not too inappropriate dress, and of course, the red hood.
"Damn right I do", Klaus mumbled and you laughed again. He was adorable, but you knew it was kind of a struggle to get him wear what you had picked for him. It was a joke, mostly, but it seemed like he wasn't amused at all.
You were lucky to even get him agree to going to the party in the first place. You were lucky, when he promised to wear something, but you were testing the boundaries and pushing him really far with what you had chosen.
You prepared yourself for laughing, and walked out of the bathroom, only to do what you had expected - laugh. While you were in your sexy, but cute outfit, Klaus was going as a wolf to match your Red Riding Hood. He looked silly, but also so epic you knew you would be adored at the party, so you told Klaus he looked fantastic.
He was hesitant, and feeling like he looked like a fool, which he kinda did, but you two headed to the party where, much like you had expected, you two were complimented constantly. You did look wonderful, both of you, and the compliments and praises were greatly earned.
"This is the best thing ever!", you squealed and led Klaus to the buffet, where everything was Halloween themed. You giggled, and handed him a vampire cupcake, making him roll his eyes, but as he tasted it carefully, you could see a smile on his face. You also tasted fingers, which were made out of marzipan, and drank blood - though much to Klaus' disappointment, it wasn't really blood. There were so many wonderfully done, smart things, you kept on sighing in adoration, and Klaus seemed to love you for being so excited.
"I love you, Y/N", Klaus whispered and walked you to the dance floor, where a slow, dramatic song was playing. It wasn't one of those romantic songs you cry to, though, it was great and badass, just how you both liked your music.
Your hips swayed along the beat, and Klaus kept his hands on your body while moving you around the floor. He kept bragging with his fangs to everyone, finally, he had the chance to do it without scaring anyone and even though it wasn't as much fun as making people tremble with fear, he enjoyed the compliments he got.
"Those look so real!", everyone said at him.
And every single time, his response was the same, "Yes, well, they are homemade. I worked hard on them."
