Imagine dating Stefan but Silas wants you 

"I hate him."

You chuckled, while eyeing Stefan, your boyfriend, who was angrily pacing around the living room of his and Damon's house. He repeated his words a couple of times, and you crossed your legs while taking a better position on the couch.

"Well, he's practically you, so...", you started but Stefan cut you off with a sharp wave of his hand. You shut up, and looked at your fingernails while Stefan ranted on how much he hated Silas, his doppelgänger, who also happened to be an active flirt when he was around you.

He had a thing for you, and Stefan didn't like it at all. He had been your boyfriend for some years now, and you had been happy so far but with Silas now in town, Stefan was all but happy. He wanted him away, from the town, and from you. Silas wanted you, it was obvious to everyone since he didn't bother with hiding his feelings. So you were basically fought over by two men who looked exactly like each other. It was like you were standing between Stefan and his mirror.

"C'mon Stef, relax for a while! Let's go for a walk, that usually calms you down, doesn't it?", you suggested with a smile. He groaned and nodded his head, before taking your hand, rather roughly and pulling you out. 

You understood where this tension was coming from, though, both you and Stefan were scared that one day, you'd mistake Silas for Stefan and kiss him or something else, or mistake Stefan for Silas and hurt him. To you, Silas seemed like someone you didn't want to get involved with, but then again, something about that bad boy kind of thingy attracted you. Silas and Stefan were complete opposites, which was probably why you wanted to get to know Silas. But as long as you were dating Stefan, it wasn't happening, and for sure you and him were going to last for a long time.

"Oh fuck, how is he everywhere?", Stefan breathed out, surprising you with his language but when you turned around to the direction he avoided with his stare, you spotted Silas who waved at you two with a wide smirk. He approached you, and Stefan mumbled what he would do to him if he'd dare to set even a finger on you. You wanted to laugh, but you stopped yourself from doing so.

"Hey, Y/N. And Stefan, of course", Silas said, showing more interest in you while looking at Stefan as if he was somewhat petty, lower than Silas himself and someone who should be kneeling before him. You snickered, but when Stefan noticed your behaviour you stopped and placed a hand on his lower back.

"Have you changed your mind, Y/N? Wanna go out with me?", Silas asked with a grin, and you shook your head instantly. 

"I'm with Stefan, remember? So no, I'm not going out with you, Silas", you said and rolled your eyes, giving Stefan a good reason to smile instead of grimacing all the time. Stefan's hold on you tightened when Silas took a step closer, and leaned over to you.

"Whatever you say. But I want you, and one day, I will get you", Silas said and smiled at you, while grabbing your hand and placing a kiss on it. Before Stefan could say or do a thing, Silas left you alone.

Stefan moaned in frustration, and swore to take good care of you as you started to walk again. You kind of liked the attention Silas was giving you, and you liked Stefan's way to get so jealous, so easily. But you didn't like him being so insecure, thinking you'd leave with Silas one day, so you drowned him in kisses and promised to always stay with him. After all, you loved him, not Silas.
