/// i've honestly rewatched the avengers two times in the past seven days and then an awesome wonderful amazing reader goes and requests this so omg i just want to say i love you because i also love the avengers and i love damon so this was a dream to write, i can't believe i didn't have this idea before !! also, i want to apologize for the requests being written so slowly, this was requested like three days ago and i want to write them as soon as possible, but i have so many tests coming like right now i should be studying for four different ones but oh well. and i know this sounds like i'm making excuses but i'm not, thanks for bearing with me and my slow-ish updates !! thank you tons for over 30,000 reads, you guys are the sweetest.

Imagine watching The Avengers with Damon

Your hands were sweating as the movie started. You loved The Avengers, it was one of your all-time favorite movies and watching it on your first date with Damon Salvatore sounded like a dream, and it was coming true. He had offered to take you to his place, but only to watch a movie with some popcorn, and then take you home unless you wanted to stay for the night. But there was going to be no sex, he swore, though you wouldn't mind but it was good to know he had some manners in him. 

And to you, watching The Avengers, which had probably the sexiest cast ever, was quite pleasuring. You took some popcorn from the bowl Damon had prepared, and while thinking you probably took too much, you dropped at least half of them back. Damon gave a glance at you, and you blushed but decided to ignore his gaze by paying attention to the movie.

"Don't be so nervous, Y/N. I'm not going to bite", Damon said, a wild smirk playing with his lips. You knew he was a vampire, so you took the last comment as a joke, but all you could do was tilt your head to the side and give him a disapproving look.

"What? I thought I was being funny!", he defended himself. That made you laugh, though.

So did Tony Stark's jokes. You and Damon laughed out loud, and you could soon relax and lean on him, while watching the movie which you were totally obsessed with. Every scene made you realize how much you loved it, and whenever your favorite characters were on the screen, you trembled with excitement and shared looks with Damon who totally understood your love for them.

"Who's your favorite Avenger?", he then asked and you wanted to grab and kiss him there and then, for even asking such a question. It meant that he understood, he knew this shit, and that was enough for you to know he was the one you were supposed to marry in the future. But then again, you weren't quite sure if you could label any of them as your favorite, but the name just came out of your mouth like it had been waiting at the entrance.

"Y/F/C", you let out, and Damon smiled. You asked which one was his favorite, and he scratched the back of his neck while pondering. To you, it didn't seem like such a hard choice - you actually thought one of the Avengers was quite similar with Damon, they shared a couple of traits and you couldn't help but laugh when Damon happened to choose the one you were thinking about.

"Tony Stark. Iron Man, whichever you prefer. He's the kind of sarcastic asshole I can relate to, I wouldn't mind being friends with him", Damon shrugged and took some of the popcorn. You opened your mouth, and allowed yourself to imagine Damon meeting Tony, which caused you to shiver and shudder. It would be awesome.

You continued to watch the movie, and somehow, you ended up talking about the Chrises of the movie, and comparing them. But you couldn't decide which one was better, because the truth was, they were both perfect and worth crying over. Damon though, he didn't admit that he would have ever been obsessed with a movie actor, but you so hard wanted to believe he had. 

"Loki is awesome", Damon commented and you accidentally let out a squeal. He raised an eyebrow at you, and broke into a smile while you blushed and tried to control yourself.

"Yeah, he is. And so are you", you mumbled, and for a moment, yours and Damon's eyes met. It was enough for you both to read the situation perfectly, leading you to lean in for a kiss. Your lips touched each other, and as Hulk smashed Loki into the ground, you two had a wonderful, loving kiss. 

It was the best first date with anyone ever.
