I fell in love with some of The Cab's songs in the beginning of 2015 and a few days ago I saw this amazing vine and I was like "damn, this is song is amazing" and figured out the name of it and when I found out it was by The Cab, I GOT ADDICTED. And basically I've been listening to this very song on repeat for days now and I had to make an imagine based on it, and I thought Damon was fitting for it so here you go. Please listen to the song, it's really amazing and it keeps getting better and better towards the end !! (:

You and Damon Salvatore had a messy first meet, a messy first kiss, a messy relationship, and to end it all, a messy break-up. When you first met, he bumped into you, causing your coffee to end up all over you both, when you first kissed, neither of you had a clue how to do it, and it was overall very awkward. When you started dating, that was when all the problems came flooding in. You had thought Damon was the perfect man, the best of all and he truly was loving and kind when it came to you but being in a relationship was much more than having a crush on someone and spending some time with them.

Being in a relationship meant weird moments, awkward silences, arguments over the tiniest things, and getting to know your partner in the craziest ways. Every little fact of Damon came to your knowledge and the same thing worked the other way around, and you and him knew odd facts about each other and you soon found yourselves using them for your own advantages. Whenever you were angry at him and he asked for you prepare a bath, you used cold water, because you knew he preferred it hot and steamy. Whenever you were angry at him and he asked for bacon and eggs for breakfast, you made him a basic sandwich. 

Your relationship didn't work, and you were always fighting and it made you very unhappy and he found himself drinking every night, which was only one more thing to argue about. So you ended up crying, yelling, and finally, storming out of the house and after picking up your stuff, you stopped talking to Damon. It was an incoherent ending to a relationship that had been doomed from the beginning.

Damon got drunk very often, and for several nights he spammed you with voice mails that went something like, "I don't love you, Y/N, I don't even need you!", "I'm better without you, I don't ever wanna see you again!", or "I'm sorry, forget about all that and come to my place so we can have some fun in the bed!" 

They hurt you, they were offensive, but what you didn't know was that Damon felt bad too. He was sad and the depression was swallowing him whole, and drinking was the only way he could stop missing you, partly at least. 

"I don't need Y/N. I'm perfectly fine without her - hell, she was just holding me back, she was someone I had to get rid of. I've moved on, and I'm ready to start a new chapter in my life, okay. Don't worry about me, I got over her a long time ago", he would always explain to everyone to make it seem like he was okay.
