n i n e t y - f o u r ; elijah

Imagine calling Elijah Barney Stinson and him being totally fed up with it

"Good morning, Mr. Stinson. Suit up!"

You started to giggle while opening the curtains - you had been waiting for this moment ever since you went to bed last night. You had realized the resemblance between Elijah and How I Met Your Mother's Barney Stinson a few days ago, and you weren't afraid of having fun as much as possible. It was something you could get a lot out of.

Elijah groaned, and cursed under his breath while getting up from the bed. He usually woke up before you but you had been preparing this for a while now and you just had to be the first one awake. He had learned that you were not dropping this Stinson thing very soon and he was not enjoying it, in fact, he was annoyed as hell but you thought it was cute and he never got too mad with you

so you didn't really see why you should stop. 

It was fun.

"Don't pout, this day is going to be legen- wait for it...", you said and danced to Elijah who started to look through his suits in the closet. "-Dary!", you giggled and gave him a quick kiss before going downstairs where you put on your shoes. You were going shopping with Bonnie and Elijah had an important meeting with Damon and Stefan - you didn't know why, but you wanted to stay away from supernatural drama and that was why you were going to have a fun day with Bonnie.

Elijah arrived to downstairs soon, and you left the house and entered Elijah's car, which you were allowed to use for today and you didn't hold back at all. You told your boyfriend how you had made a CD just for this occasion, and he was right to expect the worst when you put it in the radio.

Nothin' Suits Me Like a Suit by none other than Barney Stinson started to play and you let out a hysterical laughter while driving away from your home and towards the Salvatore boarding house. Through the whole time Elijah kept his head against the window, once in a while groaning and his fingers against his temple as he listened to the lyrics. The CD was all about that one song, you had put it there fifty times so it played on a continuous loop and you were loving

it.

When you arrived to the Salvatore house, you gave a long kiss to Elijah, caressed his flawless skin and ran your fingers through his fluffy hair. It was a delicate, loving moment and you sat there in silence, and he even flashed a happy smile but you knew how to ruin the moment.

"Have fun with Ted and Marshall", you said, bursting into a bubbly laughter and waving at Elijah after he left the car. You left him, and drove to Bonnie's place, while switching the CD to the one that played only Let's Go to the Mall by Robin Sparkles. Epic, as well.

And freaking hilarious.

Later that night, Elijah and you were getting ready for bed. He took off his tie, and while he was setting the pieces of clothing in the closet, you started a conversation.

"So, did you have fun with your bros?", you asked and Elijah scoffed unhappily, He cleared his throat, and while unbuttoning his shirt - which caught all of your attention - he looked at you and raised an eyebrow.

"I have a reason to believe you have been messing with my phone, my love", Elijah said and you suffocated a laughter. True, you had been doing some changes but still, you asked Elijah how he had come to this kind of conclusion, your innocent face on but the both of you knew that you had been using his iPhone. But you just couldn't resist.

"I received a text message during my meeting with the Salvatores, and you can only imagine their faces when they heard my pocket yelling 'Suit up!'", Elijah said and walked to you, his hands pinning your wrists against your thighs and making you swallow thickly. 

"Well I have learned that this Barney character is quite the man in bed. How about I show you how similar we are when it comes to pleasing a woman?", he whispered in your ear, his voice thick and raspy and sending shivers down your spine. You gasped, and could only nod, which caused Elijah to grin and push you down to the bed.

And oh yes, he was much like Barney Stinson, so very much.
