Imagine getting hurt during an usual Mystic Falls fight and Kai drops everything just to make sure you're okay 

Fighting in Mystic Falls was something you were quite used to. You were a witch, so you had an upper hand against, for example, newbie vampires. Or anyone, really - witches were powerful, amazing and mighty and hurting you in any way required almost an Original vampire. You had been practicing magic ever since you found out you could do so, and you had grown to be a fantastic witch and you almost never got hurt during battles and you were the best weapon your friends had. 

Though being so powerful had it's disadvantages, too, though - for instance, Damon was always begging for favors and he was often leaning onto you and putting all of his faith to you, despite his reputation with witches. It wasn't a good reputation, really.

When Kai Parker took place in Mystic Falls, you fell in love immediately. He was good with magic too, very good, and he had incredible powers in him and you had been waiting for someone so magical to end up in the same place with you. And finally, Kai did, Kai found his way to you and you didn't waste any time. You and him clicked together instantly and you started a relationship soon. 

Everything was perfect.

You battled together, side by side, and one of those days were currently going on. 

"Y/N, behind you!", you heard a shout, you didn't know from who but it made you spin around only to get stabbed in the stomach. Your jaw dropped and you immediately brought your hands to your stomach that began to bleed, and soon your clothes and skin was covered in crimson red liquid that meant you had been hurt, and awfully.

You collapsed to the ground, your back hitting the gravel in a nasty way and causing you to moan out in pain while holding your stabbed stomach in fear. What were you supposed to do? How the hell would you recover from this?

With vampire blood, of course, but Stefan, Damon, Caroline, Elena - every vampire you knew, were too busy fighting for the good side. No one had time to get down on their knees, nip on their wrist and feed you blood to heal you. One person down, that was something people got over.

But not this time, you weren't a person that could be allowed to die. You were too important to too many people, and you being on your back on the ground drew attention. You saw how Kai, who was trying to snap a neck, dropped the vampire in his arms and shouted your name multiple times while approaching you. A few enemies tried to attack him, but he avoided everyone perfectly, just to get to his love, his girlfriend, his queen - you. 

"Y/N, don't you- Don't you dare to die on me", Kai groaned after getting himself underneath you, now holding your limp body on top of his. "Keep your eyes open, focus on me, I'm here honey, just look at me, breathe in and out, don't... Don't die, baby girl, I need you", he continued, while holding his hand on your bloody stomach, causing his palm to get messy too. 

"I'm not ready to lose you", he breathed out, his confidence disappearing. You saw tears in his eyes and you too started to cry, seeing him do so, for the first time ever, made you very emotional. You intertwined your fingers with his, and smiled weakly.

"I'll be fine", you mumbled, and felt Kai press a kiss on your forehead while his free hand combed through your tangled hair. His beautiful features looked angelic to you now, every inch of his flawless skin and charming eyes and plump lips and fluffy hair now looking more perfect than ever.

"Yes you will, because Damon or someone else is going to give you some blood. If Damon isn't willing to then I will cut off his arm and make you lick it like a fucking lollipop", Kai said and made you chuckle, but then turn back to sadness when you felt his tears falling to your cheeks and meeting yours. 

"The truth is, I don't think I can do this if I'm not with you, Y/N. You've made me so strong and you complete me. I would give up all my magic for you, I would do anything for you, sugar", Kai said, managing to make you think other things than dying. You smiled and nodded your head, wanting to speak but the pain and the fact that you had been stabbed was getting to you and making everything harder. Your body was failing on you, and the blood kept on spreading out, much to everyone's horror.

Finally the battle ended, every enemy was on the ground much like you, and Damon could come to you. Kai swore like a sailor as he watched Damon slowly cut his flesh to make himself bleed, and he bit his lower lip in frustration when the Salvatore vampire moved his wrist to your mouth and fed you his blood. You sucked on it, and despite the bitter taste you drank enough to make yourself feel better, until you were all healed.

"Thank you, Damon", you sighed and looked down at your bloody shirt, and peeked at your flesh to see it close and heal. You tilted your head back and sighed again, in satisfaction and relief, and then sat up to kiss Kai.

"Thank you too, Kai. I love you. If this would have ended a little differently I couldn't have dreamed of a better way to die than in your arms", you mumbled and placed your lips on his again, locking them until you were sharing a passionate loving kiss to make the moment awkward for everyone else.

"Well, uh, that was revolting. Please never do that again", Damon said and rolled his eyes. Kai gave him a glare, and just to annoy him, he kissed you once again.

"I hate you."
