Imagine having a bad day and you go to a local bar to have a drink, where you meet Damon who has had a pretty crappy day too

You twirled a straw in your drink. It was the second one, and in your opinion, it wasn't even nearly enough. You wanted to get wasted, and forget about the awful day you had been having. At first, you screwed up at work, and then because of neglecting your friend she ended your friendship. To top all that, someone bumped into you and poured their coffee all over you so you had to change into your spare shirt, which you had mistaken with your own one so it happened to be your brother's over-sized black T-shirt. So you were not doing so good today.

"Bad day?", the bartender asked. You shrugged lightly and took a sip of your drink before laying eyes on the handsome man working at the bar.

"You could say so", you sighed and rested your jaw against your palm. You looked around the bar after giving up with the conversation, and judged the people there. Most of them were men looking for a slut to take home, some were lonely gloomy people like you. There were none happy people to catch the good mood from, and it made you grunt in annoyance before turning back to your drink that was slowly coming to it's end.

Someone seated himself on the chair next to you, and you let your eyes to glance at the man. He was wearing a leather jacket, his dark hair was mess and a pair of sunglasses covered his eyes that you caught a glimpse of. He was overall very attractive. While your eyes looked at the ring on his finger, you licked your lips from dry to moist and looked for the right words to say. You just felt like you had to talk to him.

"Crappy day?", you asked and he flashed a smirk at you as his fingers pulled the shades off of his eyes. An alluring pair of dark orbs met yours, and you took a deep breath while looking down, blushing under his gaze.

"It's complicated", he said with a sexy smirk, that seemed to be somewhat sarcastic. You raised an eyebrow and tapped your fingernails against the bar counter, along the Bon Jovi song playing on the background.

"I can relate. What's up?", you asked, insisting on him telling what made him so depressed. You wanted someone to talk to, and there was no one better than a sexy man who was just as done with everything as you.

"Fine, then it's a long story", he stated sharply. You enjoyed his way to be so angry, you felt like it too, so you didn't give up. You complained about him closing up in his shell, and how he should just let out whatever he had stored inside because talking helped. It helped to talk about your issues, and here you were, willing to hear him out.

He shot you a glare, but something about it told you it wasn't all angry and mean. You assured that you wouldn't tell about him to anyone, and started to rant on how everyone needed someone to lean on and you were the perfect person for him. You were both tired of being thrown around by life, or at least today it felt like it.

"Well, since you so desperately want to know... My brother and I are in love with the same girl, and she just told me she hates me and that it's never going to be me she loves. So, yeah. Crappy day", he explained, and you nodded your head, understanding how he felt. You began to tell about your day, but he cut you off.

"Do you maybe like, want to get out of here? I could take you to my place", he said, his tone flirtatious and his eyes and lips sending you signals. You swallowed loudly, but nodded your head.

"Unless your asshole brother is there", you said with a grin, but he promised to keep him away.
