"Robin?" Rinney story

Sleep over

Robin:

As we were deciding on what to watch I walked into the kitchen to make some snacks while Bruce and Vance argued on what to watch. As the popping of the bag started to happen I looked out of my kitchen window and started thinking about Finney. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Vance shouting from the living room. "Come on robin! We picked a movie and are hungry!" I grabbed some sodas and the popcorn and walked to the living room handing both of them a popcorn bowl and a drink. As we were watching the movie I started to get uncomfortable and nauseous. 

 "Hey Vance" I said. 

"Yeah what's wrong Rob" he said concerned.

"I'm gonna go put some pjs on ok?" I said getting up to leave the room.

"Ok don't fall down the stairs!" He said as I got up to walk to my room.

Vance: 

I hoped Robin would be ok up there. I hope he wasn't thinking of Finney which was stupid he was always thinking of Finney. I looked over to see Bruce reach for his popcorn on the coffee table. I poured mine into his not really being that hungry. I went to reach for a tiny pice of his when he lifted the bowl out of my reach playfully.

"Stingy" I said jokingly.

"Im just fucking with you here" he said handing me the bowl. I looked over to see Robin wearing a tank top and baggy sweat pants pretend puking. "Ugh, just get a room already you two clearly have the hots for each other!" He said smiling at me and Bruce so close together. Bruce fell asleep before me and Robin. He was laying on my left sound asleep laying on my shoulder with Robin on my right,

"Hey, Robin" I said breaking  the tension in the air.

"Yeah?" He said fidgeting with his fingers. That's when I knew he wasn't ok Robin only does that when he's sad or nervous.

"You never do that, tell me whats wrong" I said pointing down to him playing with his hands.

"I don't know Vance I feel like I had a brush with death when I seen Finney in the ambulance and something in me just snapped when I seen Matty." He said his voice getting quieter with every word. "Robin," I said grabbing his shoulder to rest on me. "I just don't want you to forget I'm here" I said sadly pulling him close. "I know I haven't, thanks for always being here for me." "Anytime Rob" I said closing my eyes.

Robin: 

I woke up to the phone ringing in my ears. I slowly got up from Vance's shoulder and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hello is Robin Arellano?" 

"Yes this is him" I said still tired.

"Ok Mr Arellano we have a patient here named Finney Blake and he's asking for you and a girl named gwenny?"

"Hold on I'll be right there ok!" 

 "Alrighty I'll make you an appointment with him." I slammed the phone back on the receiver Causing Bruce to wake up. I ran over to Vance and shook him awake excited.

"Vance get up Finneys awake!"

"What's going on?" He said still tired. I felt Bruce nudge my shoulder and call my name. 

"What Bruce" I said waking up on the couch with no Vance or Finney.

"Vance made us breakfast, I just wanted to wake you up so you could eat" he said sadly. It felt like he sensed I was dreaming about Finney. I wish my dream had been a reality as I was walking into the kitchen watching Bruce and Vance be love doves at the table. They both reached for syrup at the same time and their hands touched and they pulled away, turning all shades of pink. 

"Y'all two need to date already! You guys love each other so much it makes you look stupid!" I said turning to see Vance staring daggers into me. I couldn't help but laugh a little in my head.

Vance: 

I hate Robin He always finds a way to embarrass me. It was cute he supported my crush on Bruce  I just wish he would stop being such a nitwit about it. Bruce obviously would never like me back not in a million years. It hurt but it was better than lying to myself. I just ate my food and looked over at Robin shooting me a sly grin. I was going to end him.

Bruce:

I couldn't believe I had been so stupid to reach for the syrup at the same time. Our hands touched and I pulled back nervous. I wish Vance would like me the way I like him maybe then we could be something more than just best buddies.

Vance:

We finished eating and I stood up grabbing Robins and Bruce's plates of off the kitchen table going to wash dishes. Robin stood beside me picking up a plate and a loose sponge from the cabinet. We we're washing dishes for about five minutes when Robin broke the silence. while Bruce cleaned up the living room.

"Vance" he said sadly.

"Mm" I said not taking my eyes of off the plate I was holding.

"Since your the only one with a license can you take me to see Finney a couple times a week?" He hesitated. 

"Sure I don't see why not" I said wanting to make my friend happy. He put the plate in the cabinet and grabbed me into a hug. 

"Thanks Vance I don't deserve you as friend" I heard him whisper. "Do you want to go see him today?" I said grabbing the back of Robins head with my hand. I heard him whisper a small "mhm" and I told him and Bruce to go put on some clothes and we'd get going. Bruce walked in wearing a black long sleeved shirt and red basketball shorts. I couldn't help but blush at how messy his usually combed hair was. I walked to him going to fix it.

"What are you doing?" He said turning red in the face.

"I- um wanted to fix it" I said finishing messing with his hair. And turning to grab my car keys off of the freezer to be meet with Robin and that sly grin.

"Awwwww!" He squealed sarcastically. 

"Shut you little idiot or your next!" I said ruffling his hair a bit. We walked out of the house and got into my van. We sat in silence awaiting Finney at the hospital.
