Classes started in earnest the next day.

According to the timetable, the first class of the day was basic fitness training.

We changed into our sportswear in the classroom and assembled on the sports field, where we first became aware of the presence of people other than ourselves.

The sports field is shared with the Adventurer Training Academy, so we could see students from the academy on the other side of the field.

Cortina came over to us and had us start the preparatory exercises with a whistle in our mouths.

Cortina and I were doing calisthenics side by side.

'Wow, Nicole-san has a very soft body, doesn't she?

' 'Yes, well, I've been on the front line for a while now,'

'On the front lines? You don't want to be a magician, do you?'

'No, I want to be a magician. I want to be a sorcerer.'

'That's a lofty goal.'

To be a magic swordsman, I need to master both magic and the sword to a higher degree than other people. Have experienced in my previous life that inferior skills can upset the balance of the party.

'Yes. But I'll do my best.'

'I can't lose either.'

'Look, there. You're going to get hurt if you're talking while you're getting ready!'

Cortina's expression is also brighter than when she is at home, if not for her mind.

If I recall, she also liked to play with children when she was in the orphanage. I was just being played with by children.

Then we'll continue with three laps of the grandstands.

What?

"'Sir, that's very hard!'

The children were complaining one after the other, but it couldn't be helped. Three laps around this large ground is a distance of more than one kilometre.

For a young child, it is too hard a workout.

''Don't worry, this is just to test the limits of your physical strength. Besides, this class is about physical training, you know? If it's not hard, you can't train it."

" - Demon!"

'Demon!'

"'Too bad I'm a cat! Come on, run!"

"Ooooh!"

The students start to run, screaming. Me and Retina started to run with them.

This is still how we worked out every day in the village. I'm not going to be beaten by a bunch of sprouting sorcerer eggs.

There was a time when I thought so too.

'By all means, ha-hoo-hoo!'

"'Hey, we're not even halfway round the ...... round yet, are you alright, Nicole?"

'Da, da hijob.'

'It doesn't look okay by any means .......'

I was following the other students at a good pace for the first hundred metres or so, but by the time I reached 200 metres, I was rapidly stalling.

It was a clear sign that I was running out of energy. Incidentally, the other students were already far ahead.

When I fought the kidnapper, I lasted much longer. It seems that exercise, which consumes physical strength continuously, is my natural enemy.
