Chapter 16

Elinor's POV:

"She has Zephyr's eyes!" Darcy said while taking a video of Freya.

"Pabuhat naman ako! Kanina ka pa d'yan Brynn." Sabi ko at inabot niya naman saakin si Freya.

Kamukha ni Freya si Brae pero 'yung mata niya si Zephyr at ang ganda ng halo ng mukha nilang dalawa pero 'yung ilong at kutis talaga eh ay Walter.

"Kamusta ka?" Tanong ko kay Brae at matamlay naman siyang ngumiti at nakatingin sa mag ama niya.

"Okay lang. Grabe, last na 'yan sobrang sakit pala 'di na ako uulit." Sabi niya at natawa naman ako.

"Ikaw pa! Hindi ako naniniwala na last na 'yan grabe 'yung energy niyong mag asawa." Sabi ko at natawa naman siya at napa iling.

"Parang 'di niyo naman ginagawa 'yung bagay na 'yun ni Claude. Baka nga buntis kana ngayon eh!" Sabi niya at natawa naman ako at umiling.

"Pa'no mo naman nalaman? Nakita mo ba 'yung loob ng sinapupunan ko?" Natatawang sabi ko at umirap naman siya.

"Baliw. Wala lang, nararamdaman ko lang. Kasi dumaan din ako sa part na 'yan na tinatanggi na buntis ako pero tignan mo ngayon." Sabi niya pa at sumulyap kay Zephyr na sinasayaw si Freya habang buhat niya.

"Ewan ko sa'yo! Nananakot ka eh." Sabi ko at umirap at tumawa naman siya.

"Bahala ka basta ako alam ko ang nararamdaman ko." Sabi niya at sumenyas kay Zephyr na iabot sakanya si Freya para ma pa breastfeed niya na ito.

Nauna ng umalis si Claude dahil madami pa daw siyang meetings ngayon at tinawagan ko na din si Jessa na bukas na ako makakapasok at i-email niya nalang saakin ang mga important documents.

"Eli, you owe us something. Hindi mo pa nakukwento 'yung tungkol sa family ng jowabels mo." Sabi ni Brae at pati sila Brynn ay napatingin sa gawi namin.

"Fine, I'll tell you guys na." I said.

I told them everything, and they were both shocked and angry, and they offered me more help, but I told them I could do the rest on my own.

"I already pulled out all of my investment in them and I told them a warning that if they don't pay all the money they owe me ilalabas ko lahat ng baho nila." Braelynn said.

"Same, just call me or text me when you need help I'm always free and I could also use my connections." Brynn said and I nodded and forced a smile.

"I know their biggest investors and business partners and they are already pulling out matapos kong sabihin kung anong pinag gagawa nila. And I also discovered that they scammed many big companies, not just in this country but also in other countries that they go to, and they also have a lot of warrants of arrest for that." Darcy said.

"And also, I found out that Carter Ashford physically abused his ex-girlfriends; we could use that to expose them. I already talked to my secretary to find his ex-girlfriends, and she found them. Tell me if you want to meet them." Brynn said and I nodded.

"God, those three are fucking criminals. I found out that they've been hiding from the authorities all these years, but they can't just put them in jail because even though they are scammers and criminals, they still have power in their hands, so they can manipulate people and money easily to get them out of jail." Braelynn said.

"If they can manipulate... I can too." I said and smirked.

"What exactly are you planning to do?" Darcy asked but I didn't answer and just faked a smile.

"Does Claude knows about this?" Braelynn said and I shook my head.

"No, and please don't tell him. I'm still thinking about how to tell him, but not now, and he also doesn't know that I know what's happening to CQ." I said and they nodded.
