Micks POV

I was running a little late for the team meeting that I had at HAAS in a couple of minutes time. Currently I was sprinting towards the hotel we were staying in to get changed. When I got to the elevator, the doors opened to reveal Nikita standing there. I got in beside him and pressed the button for my floor. The elevator started to go up, when it came to a sudden hault.
My old teammate looked round panicked, and I was panicking slightly as we because I was already late for the team meeting.
A robotic voice informed us that the elevator had encountered a problem and that it should be fixed in the next couple of hours.

'Hours'
'Well thats what it said'
'I don't like small spaces'
'Are you claustrophobic then'
'Yeah, but only in enclosed spaces, it was fine in the cockpit of the car because I could see out and my vision wasn't limited'
'Well, Gunther is going to kill me, because I'm late for a team meeting'

Nikita let out a shakey laugh.

'Oh god, poor, poor you though at this rate you are not going to even make it to the meeting'
'I know, how the fuck does it take hours to fix a lift, especially one with people inside it'
'It is really bad'

I motioned for Nikita to sit down beside me, which he did. We just started talking, getting to know eachother better and to keep Nikitas mind off the fact we were stuck in an elevator.

'Oh my'
'What'
'I've just got a message from Gunther asking why I didn't attend the meeting'
'What did you say'
'I said that I'm trapped in a lift, but he didn't seem to believe me'

Nikita laughed

'Well, getting stuck in a lift isn't exactly a common occurance, thank god'
'Yeah'
'Erm, when we get out of here I was wondering if you would like to hang out with me for a bit'

I could see how nervous Nikita was asking me this, and to be quite honest I was also nervous

'I'd love to hang out with you'

I could see his shoulders visibly sag with relief and then the lift started moving again. After being stuck in there for 2 hours we were finally out of the lift. And I subconsciously followed Nikita back to his room to take up his offer of hanging out
