Later, the next day, Lewis was on his way to the Alpine motorhomes to go and play some online games with Pierre. But he was also hoping to fulfil the favour that Lance and Charles asked him to do. He knocked on the door of Pierres' motorhome and said the person opened the door a few seconds later, his face lighting up.

"Ah, Lewis, sorry we're gonna have to go back to my hotel room as I forgot to bring the PlayStation to the track," Pierre said apologetically.

"That's fine, I've nothing left to do at the track anyway," Lewis reassured him.

Pierre shot him a grateful smile and led the way through the paddock after he had locked the door of his motorhome. They got into Pierre's car and drove over to the Alpine hotel, and walked up to Pierres' room. The journey was mostly silent, but not the awkward kind of silence, more of a comfortable one. The silence was only broken once Lewis had closed the door to Pierres' room behind them.

"So, what do you want to play Lewis?" Pierre asked as he started setting up the PlayStation.

"Anything, I'm not really bothered," Lewis replied.

"Okay," Pierre said, and he just picked up a random game for them to play.

Midway through their gaming session, Lewis finally decided that it was time to see if he could Pierre to admit that he's in love with Esteban.

"So Pierre, everything good between you and Esteban?" Lewis asked, " You seem to be getting along much better now."

"Yeah, we've sorted everything out, doesn't really do to have two teammates who are fighting. As you know, it doesn't tend to end very well."

"Hmm, true. That's good anyway, although I have seen you looking at Esteban sometimes."

"Erm, I don't know what you're talking about," Pierre said with a high-pitched, nervous giggle at the end.

Lewis sighed, "Look, Pierre, I'm not stupid. You look at Esteban the same way that I look at Nando, and Nando looks at me. So, do you love him, or am I hallucinating."

"It's just I don't want to ruin the fragile friendship that we've managed to regain and I'm afraid that if I acknowledge my feelings about him then everything will just blow up in my face and he'll be gone again. I love him, I really do," Pierre started sobbing.

Concerned, Lewis put down the controller and took Pierres controller out of his hands as well, and placed it on the side. Lewis then pulled the sobbing frenchman onto his lap and started rocking him. Pierre just curled into him, and Lewis comforted him until the sobs died down into hiccups. Then there was silence. Pierre had fallen asleep and when Lewis moved to go and turn the TV off, he found that Pierre had him in a vice like grip and that meant that Lewis was resolved to not moving for a couple of hours. Until there was a knock on the door, that is. Carefully, Lewis moved so that he was carrying Pierre and went to answer the door. It was Esteban, and Lewis gave an internal sigh of relief.

"Ah Lewis, your still playing on PlayStation with Pierre," Esteban said as Lewis moved aside to let him into the room.

"Well, we were, until he started crying and fell asleep. He won't let go of me now," Lewis said, indicating the sleeping driver in his arms, "Can you try taking him off me?"

"Yeah sure," Esteban said.

Carefully, Esteban reached out to bear the majority of Pierre's weight whilst Lewis tried to prise Pierre's arms from around him without waking him up. After a few close calls, they had managed to get it so Pierre's arms were now around Esteban instead of Lewis.

"Well, I'd better be going now. Just call if you need any help with him," Lewis said.

"I will," Esteban replied.
