"Here." Jordan throws his shorts at me without a warning, so I'm instantly hit in the face with them, earning a laugh from him.
"Thanks." I say sarcastically, finally turning to face him for the first time since we entered the locker room. My gaze trails up his body to see him standing there in his boxers and PE shirt, once my eyes reach his, I see him smirking at me.
"Like what you see, Belles?" He teases.
I clear my throat awkwardly and turn around to slip his shorts on under my skirt before removing it. I slowly unbutton my shirt as I get caught up in my thoughts. What am I gonna do for this art assignment? Who am I? I never been good with emotions before...
This is stupid! I don't need to be worrying about this. I have enough going on, who cares about some art project?
God, I care, don't I? Bloody hell! I should be worrying about what I'm gonna have for dinner or if mom's come out from under her rock to mess with us again, not one poxy assignment.
"Urgh." I groan quietly, shoving my shirt in my school bag.
"Stop worrying, Bella." I hear Jordan tell me, and I turn to face him. "You'll do great on the make-up art assignment."
"How'd you know what I'm thinking about?" I ask him, and he slowly walks up to me.
"I know a lot more than you think." He says softly, reaching towards my chest, resulting in me taking a sharp intake of breath. He smirks at the reaction he got out of me before lifting my tie up to show me what he was grabbing. "What'd you take me for?"
He slowly unties my tie, pulling it from around my neck and backing me up against the changing benches. I let out a gasp, when I feel the bench press up against the backs of my knees making me lose my balance but luckily a cold hand secures me by placing it on the small of my back. I follow the hand up to make eye contact with Jordan as he hangs my tie up, then he grips my waist with both hands and pulls me up right.
Jordan leans in and whispers in my ear, "You've gotta be more careful, eh Princess?"
He steps back fully and sits down on the bench where his stuff is, pulling his phone out his blazer pocket and acting like nothing happened.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in and quickly throw Cory's jumper over my head. I tighten the laces on my school trainers that I leave in Mr Bell's office for when I tag along to his PE lessons and turn back to Jordan.
"Right, you ready?" Jordan stands up, giving me a once over.
"Mhm." I hum, and we both walk out the changing room.
"Race ya to the field?" He asks with a childish smirk.
"Mm, but it won't be fair because you've already warmed up and-" I whine jokingly. "Go!"
I start running before him without any warning. "Oi!"
He starts to catch up to me, but I still beat him to where the rugby team is warming up.
Jordan grips my waist from behin, pulling me back into him. "Oi! You cheated!"
"No, I just used my brain to my advantage." I giggle.
"Right! Everyone, listen up!" Mr Bell claps, snapping us out of our own little world.
"Cory and Riz! Each of you pick a team! And we'll get a game going!" Mr Simpson decides.
I jog over to stand between Mr Bell and Mr Simpson as the boys segregate themselves from each other and start arguing just like what happened with football.
