I walk through the back door, pulling my hood down to see Missy and Mrs Paracha at the dinner table, whilst Missy eats some spaghetti. "What're you doing here?"
"Ah.. so it was you who forgot to lock that door." Mrs Paracha nods in realisation. "Go on, bete, take a seat."
I sit down next to Missy as Mrs Paracha hands me a plate of spaghetti.
"Good this." Missy smiles.
"Jamie Oliver." Mrs Paracha states. "So what you gonna do about your mom? She needs to get your sister home. Where is she?"
"Dunno, lost cause." Missy shrugs.
"Laying in a ditch for all I care." I grumble.
"People only lost when you stop looking, eh, na?" Mrs Paracha replies.
"Gotta wanna be found first, ain't they?" Missy reminds.
"Me and your mom, we used to do this." Mrs Paracha motions to the kitchen. "I would be doing washing up and she would-"
"Mom dried?" Missy asks and I scoff loudly.
"Don't be stupid. She hate bloody cleaning, your mom." Mrs Paracha shakes her head. "No, we talk about our kids."
"Surprised she ever bothered." I mutter, slouching in my seat, pushing my plate forward and folding my arms over my chest.
"She not always like you see her now you know?" Mrs Paracha states.
"Was she a good mom?" Missy asks quietly.
"Was she a good mom? We all try to be a good mom, eh, puttar." Mrs Paracha answers. "But sometimes, life gets in the way and we all need help. Oh, I have to take this."
Mrs Paracha leaves through the back door after answering her phone.

"Right, you ready?" I ask, walking into the kitchen with my house keys and newly charged phone.
"Yeah." Missy nods and we both walk out the back door.
As we come out the gate I see Miss Keane's car waiting for us with her and Mr Qureshi in the front seat. "What's she doing here?"
"I called her." Missy informs me and I pull her back by her arm.
"What? Why?" I ask her harshly. "We don't need her sticking her nose in where she's not wanted."
"But she is wanted. I want her here. She wants to help us." Missy says.
I scoff, "Yeah, and last time she did that our Haylee got put in care and you were told to move out and live with the Paracha's, you remember that?"
"Course, I do but she didn't want that to happen." Missy justifies.
"Yeah, well it weren't gonna happen if she learnt to keep her trap shut." I give her a dirty look from where she was watching us in the car. "Look, Missy-"
"Everything alright?" Miss Keane calls out to us.
"What's it to you?" I ask her rudely.
"Yep! Yeah, we're fine." Missy smiles and walks to the car.
"You coming, Izzy?" Miss Keane asks.
"Yeah, I am. Because I'm actually needed, cos I'm a Booth." I spit and roll my eyes, getting in the car and slamming the door.

Miss Keane parked the car across the road from one of mom's dealers that we remembered in hopes of finding her here.
