You had gotten home from a long day at work when you noticed something was off. Daniel would usually be on the sofa or in the kitchen waiting on you to arrive home. You felt a heavy feeling in the air and began to look for him.
You found him on your back door steps sniffling and you sat next to him. He quickly wiped his eyes and looked away from you. "Daniel what's wrong sweetheart?" He teared up more and completely broke down. He explained through tears why he was upset.
"So I remind you a lot of her?" He nodded his head and you gave him a sympathetic look. You brought his head close to your chest and rubbed his head. "The devil himself would have to drag me from you my dear." He eventually calmed down and got up to go into the kitchen. So I remind him of his past lover? You smiled to yourself as you got up and went to go bother him.
