You sat on the ground as you stared up at the tree. You and Daniel had worked hard decorating the house. You smiled as you placed a present on the ground for him and called him. "Daniel! Look!! It's for you!" He sat behind you and rested his head onto your shoulder. You helped him unwrap it and his eyes lit up.
He admired the prosthetic hand. You helped him place it on to which he gave you a giant hug. "I'm so glad you like it my love." He mumbled a thank you and went back to admiring it. You went into the kitchen to make two cups of hot chocolate and you both snuggled up. The peaceful sound of each others breathing relaxing the both of you.
