Upon their arrival on Dragonstone, the Targaryens were received by their servants and household. The princess's sons walked right behind their mother, pride in their eyes as they looked at their home. Lady Rhea Celtigar set foot on the island a short time after them all, as she had been on Craw Isle for the past fortnight. She walked through the throne room and placed her chests on either sides of her, her pale blue eyes scanning the ever beautiful throne before her. She had barely said her goodbyes to the Targaryens in King's Landing, only a quick one to the King and Queen, a quick peck on the cheeks of Helaena and Aegon's children and she was off, hours after her last conversation with Prince Aemond. She had spent weeks on Craw Isle and was certain she had made the right decision, as benefits of her investments already could be seen by anyone. She held a meeting of all Celtigar branches and had her relatives swear fealty to her and her position as Head of the House, without facing any opposition. She received many proposals from her cousins, by accepted none, although some would have made good matches, and would have made sense for the prosperity of their House. She made a promise to her first cousin, Orys, who sat in her stead all those years. That when she is dead, whatever future children she may have will not be made Head of their House, as they will not bear her name. Instead, his children, and their children, will rule, and their line will become the main one. She swore on her honour and signed the deal with her blood, as was tradition in Old Valyria. She met the people living in the villages near her home, and learnt of their struggles, as well as their traditions, and made sure she honoured them when taking decisions. She was not far from Dragonstone, which allowed her to see Rhaenyra and her family more often than she could the past ten years, which gladdened her heart. The princess Rhaenyra gave birth to her fourth son, Aegon, minutes after they all arrived on Dragonstone. Daemon would not admit it, but he cried tears of joy when he heard the news. Lady Rhea took to paper and wrote a letter she addressed to "My King and adopted father, Queen Alicent and my kin, Princess Helaena and her children whom I so dearly miss, and the Princes Aegon and Daeron, whom I hope do not train and fight each other too much while I am away". She purposefully left Aemond out of it, as she was writing him another letter and would hope he would be stung by her not mentioning him in this one. She knew he would be. The letter read:

"My dearest family in King's Landing, I do hope this letter finds you well.

My King, it is with the greatest pleasure that I write to you in the Princess's stead to announce the birth of her fourth son, Prince Aegon. I so wish you would be here to witness the boy's beauty and the joy he brings his mother, and his father, your brother Daemon. Both have asked me to convey their well-wishes to you, and their hope you will feel well enough to sail soon to meet the lovely boy.

As for the rest of you, rest assured, I will come home soon, in less than two months time.

With all my love,

Rhe"

Aemond roamed the halls of the Red Keep, trying to steady his mind after having read Lady Rhea's letter, and trying not to focus on the fact she hadn't addressed the letter to him. He knew she had done this on purpose, as she was well aware of the things she could do to turn him crazy, to make him lose his mind. Her leaving all those weeks ago, just as he was getting better and could finally walk with her in the gardens, was one of those things. He had let his anger get the better of him, yet again, and had let her walk away when he should have stopped her from leaving. He would often fly on Vhagar's back to try and catch a glimpse of her, near Claw Isle, but not too close so she would know he was there. He heard she was making big changes there, and could not be more proud of her, yet he could not tell her. He had to rely on her brothers and sister to hear from her, and it killed him. How could he have been so stupid? His only friend in the realm had left his side because he was too proud to ask her not to leave him.
