I managed to do an amazing job in avoiding him for the next three weeks after the incident.

Luckily, Steve found a way to get the school to transfer my credits so I could attend. It was suspicious but I wasn't about to shoot a gift horse in the mouth.

I had started to attend school in the afternoons. It was Thursday evening and it had started to get windy sometime during the last four hours. I had been in classes all afternoon, and it was close to eight in the evening as I exited the last class.

While back home in Pennsylvania, I only took classes online, throughout the day. Here? Well, there wasn't anything stopping me from taking classes in the evening.

Unfortunately, until I could get my own car, I was stuck getting rides from the security detail.

I had just finished my class, and Natasha, a friend of Steve's, was supposed to pick me up when the familiar silver car pulled up.

Sonny, a girl from my class, was waiting for her boyfriend to arrive when Bucky stepped out of the car.

"Oh, is that a friend of yours?'' she asked curiously.

I shook my head grimacing as he made his way over to me.

"Unfortunately, no." I mumbled as I moved to begin walking away.

His hand caught my forearm as I did, pulling me to a stop.

"What in the hell are you doing here?" I asked, as I tried to pull from his grap only for him to tighten it.

"Nat had an emergency she needed to take care of. And your parents weren't home." He explained.

I sighed in defeat before I nodded, trying to ignore Sonny's eyes and sigh, as I finally pulled out my arm from his grasp.

"How convenient. It's alright though. You can leave, I'll just take a cab home." I told him, attempting to move again, as I clutched my books to my chest.

He looked like he was trying not to get mad as he took a deep breath, but I could see the anger escalate as his eyes went down to my empty hand.

"Where the fuck is your ring?" He asked me as his eyes landed on my hand.

"I took it off, I don't want to lose it." I told him, as my fingers flexed around my books.

"Right. Well, come on." He said as he practically dragged me to his car.

Sonny watched wide-eyed as she scribbled something on her notepad, lifting it and turning it to me.

'Scream if you need help!' she wrote.

I laughed and shook my head as Bucky helped me into the car.

He frowned as he turned, to see Sonny running back to the building.

I laughed again as he got into the driver's seat and sped away.

I realized I should tell him if my plans to get the marriage annulled but I wasn't sure driving home was the best place to tell him.

"Are you planning to talk to me ever again?" He finally asked.

I shrugged indifferently as he sighed and muttered something in Russian.

"I can understand you." I mumbled with an eye roll.

"Then quit being a brat and talk to me. Tell me why you're acting like this." He told me.

I shook my head, "I made a mistake. I shouldn't have married you." I finally said.

He turned to look at me, confused, for a moment, before turning to look back at the road.

"Is this about what happened the other night?" He asked me.

I swallowed thickly but shook my head in response. "No." I told him quietly.

He sighed as he pulled to the side of the road. "Sienna, you realize that this marriage... It's a permanent deal. We can't get separated or get a divorce." He told me.

"I say otherwise." I replied as I continued to look out the window.

"No, you don't understand. In this world. Our world. The only way to separate is death or permission from your father." He explained.

I shrugged, "That doesn't sound like a hard task." I told him with a shrug.

"I'm not allowing you to leave my side. You're my wife. I'm not going down without a fight. I'm not going to just pretend that this isn't here." He told me.

I ignored him, leaning my head into the window before I felt the coolness of the glass. "There's nothing here." I whispered stubbornly as he sighed and moved the gear shift.

A few minutes later we arrived back at Steve's house, and I got out without another word.

I could hear him following me as I rushed inside and up the stairs.

"I take it your take didn't go as planned?" I heard Steve say as I disappeared up the stairs, to the left.

Bucky sighed, "No, she is more stubborn than we gave her credit for. She basically told me she was going to get the marriage annulled." He replied tiredly.

Steve chuckled, "Looks like you have three days to convince her otherwise." He told him.

"Yeah, yeah punk. Laugh it up, I bet Peg isn't going to be so amused when she finds out what you did today." Bucky smirked.

"No, but at least I know that she'll talk to me. Can you say that?" Steve inquired. "I thought so." He added as I made my way to the room.

After Bucky and Steve broke the lock and door, Peggy moved my room to the one across the hall. With a thicker door and lock. Much to Steve and Bucky's annoyance.

As soon as I walked into my room, I locked the door, changed out of the clothes, and into a pair of sweats and a tank top.

As I was heading to bed I heard the phone go off as I got in. It's Peggy, and I sigh as I answer on the third ring.

"Hey I heard what's happening. Girls weekend. What do you say? It'll be me, my little sister Sharon, Maria, Natasha and Tony's girlfriend, Virginia." She says.

I frowned but nodded, before realizing she couldn't see me. "I'd like that." I finally said.

"Good. Pack something for the cold and hot weather. We leave in the morning." She says before hanging up.

I frowned, before getting out of bed to head into the closet.

I pulled out a small black luggage bag. I folded my clothes meticulously, so that three pairs of shoes fit on top, along with my makeup and toiletry bag. Along with my hair curler.

When everything was ready, including the outfit I would be wearing the next day, I climbed into bed and fell asleep
