I quickly rushed to my room, showered again, and changed into a set of comfy warm clothes. Before heading down to clean up the water tracks left behind.

Then I moved to the kitchen and began cooking food for later that evening while humming to myself.

Later that night as the women walked into the dining room.

"So, I take it you're all sated and satisfied?" I asked as I finished setting the food on the table.

They all had the decency to look down embarrassed.

"She almost died out there by herself." Bucky said as he and the other men walked into the room.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, annoyed.

"Well, we need to eat too. And apparently, Howard forgot to tell Soriah that the guest house needed to be stocked as well." Steve said as he sat down at the head of the table.

I sighed and went to get more place mats and dinnerware.

Everyone quietly served themselves a piece of the roast before grabbing some herb encrusted green beans and buttery mashed potatoes.

Peggy brought out a few bottles of wine. Before she sat down next to Steve at the head of the table.

Bucky sat at the other head of the table, gesturing for me to sit down at his right side, causing everyone to gasp at him.

"Did you just—?" Howard asked.

I frowned as I stood in the back of Bucky's chair. It's just a chair. Why is everyone making such a big deal about where I sit?

"Yes. She is my wife. I want her as my right hand in all my future decisions." Bucky informs them.

I shake my head, "No. Absolutely not." I said as I stood there.

He turned to look at me before he sighed, grabbing my wrist and pulling me to sit into the chair.

"Nonsense. It's not a choice." He told me as he gestured for me to eat. "I want that plate clean of all food." He told me as he began to eat.

I rolled my eyes at him as I began to chow down the food, suddenly feeling ravenous as I did.

There were groans as we ate. "Where did you buy this food?" Sharon asked.

Peggy shrugged, "Soriah must have gotten something already prepared." She said with a confused frown.

"Actually, Sienna was the one who cooked. I saw her doing it earlier." Bucky said as he looked at me with a glint in his eye.

I narrowed my eyes at him as everyone turned to look at me, "You can cook?" Steve asked, surprised.

I sighed and nodded, "I took as many extracurricular classes as I could. Cooking, baking, and all the likes within the field are a passion of mine. Amongst other things." I told them as I looked down at my plate.

Once I was finished, Peggy stopped me from clearing the dishes and sent me up to my room.

Sharon stopped me, though. "So, how about we go into the hot tub now? We can take a few glasses of wine and enjoy the heat against the cold weather." She suggested.

"I almost drowned earlier, no thanks, I want to live." I told her as she gasped.

"Died? What the hell happened?" She asked, shocked.

"I slipped on the step as I was getting out. Bucky pulled me out…" I told her, embarrassed.

Bucky nodded as he reached where we were.

Sharon looked like an owl as she looked between us. "Is -- So, that's why when I ran into you earlier, you were shirtless?" She asked him, with an amused smirk.

He nodded, "I thought she hurt herself, so I went in to see if she was ok." He explained, not meeting my eye.

I looked away too, willing my face not to heat up as I did.

"Something else happened." She said suspiciously.

"Can I please go to bed? I'm rather tired." I told her forcefully.

She looked at me suspiciously before sighing and nodding. "Alright, but we are going to talk about this." She says.

Bucky sighs, "Sharon, leave her alone."

Peggy comes in at that moment, and she looks me in the eye, "We'll talk later." she mouths.

I nod before rushing out of the room faster than if my ass was on fire.

Just as I reach the landing, I hear someone following me. I rush into my room, leaving the door open.

As soon as I went inside, I hid in the shadows and waited patiently as I heard the footsteps approach.

The moment I heard someone step into the room, I jumped on their back, clutching onto them as hard as I could.

I get spun around a few times before I get thrown onto the bed, I bounce a few times as I see Bucky standing there with a smirk. "What the hell were you doin', baby girl?" He asked, unable to hide his amusement.

I look up at him, blinking as my face turns pink, "I'm always prepared for an ambush." I told him

"Is that so?" He asks as he shrugs out of his dark blue coat and drapes it over the armchair in the corner of the room.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked as he slowly shrugs out of his black button up, and then undoes his pants and does the same as his coat and pants.

"I'm taking my clothes off, baby girl. You're going to show me what you've got." He said as he climbed onto the bed.
