Forever In Strife : Transformers Rescue Bots

Chapter V

Running through the streets, her hood over her face, she ran as fast as she was able, headed straight for where she saw Blades struggling to fly in the air. Going down the roads in the process.

As she approached a gas station, she saw the ground blow, causing the station to light in flames, just as Heatwave pulled up to deal with the fire. As she looked around evaluating what was going on, she saw Heatwave transform ready to put out the fire, but Kade pulled up in another fire truck, hose already spraying the fire and killing the flames.

"I got this, you can move on, Partner." Kade cried, as Heatwave looked at him, before he turned and walked away. Julie looked around the area, seeing Dani was fighting with his own partner above, while Graham was arguing with Boulder in the distance. "No time for chitchat, Cody." Kade cried as he flicked some device on his coat, while focusing on the task he had at hand.

While watching the boy, she sensed the lava building up underneath the truck seeing it heat up below, before she ran forward, pushing Kade aside with her body, as they both landed on the ground, holding the boy down beneath her.

The sewer pipe beneath the truck blew up, sending the fire truck flying as a whole bunch of fire was forming around them, but Julie groaned as she slowly sat up, looking at the flames and lava approaching them.

Getting up, she stood up while the young man was catching his breath. Looking around, there was nothing she could do without revealing her powers, as she reached forward with her hand to cool the flames, but she didn't get a chance as a hose started spraying at the lava in front of her, before spraying down Kade in the process.

Kade coughed on the water, before he turned and fast Heatwave nearby, who gave a small salute gesture, as he sprayed down the flames. "Your welcome, Partner."

Helping the boy up, she felt panic as she saw the team continue to evacuate nearby people, her unable to help without use of her powers as the Burns told people to leave, while the bots were working to use barricades as lava blocks to slow down the flow.

"Alright team, I just got off the com with Cody. He says we can stop this lava, but we have to erupt a volcano to do it."

"And that's the safest option?" Blades asked, as he landed, letting the pilot hope out of his cabin, before transforming into his bipedal mode.

"It's our only option." Chief Burns replied. "I won't lie, things may get hairy. If the volcano goes off too fast, we can get caught in the lava." he explained before approaching the bots. "I'll understand if you don't wanna be a part of this mission. It's dangerous, Griffin Rock isn't your home."

"If you go, we go." Heatwave replied.

"You'd risk your lives for us?" Graham asked.

"That's what being partners means." Boulder replied.

"Wherever there's an emergency, there are rescue bots ready to serve, save and protect." Chase agreed.

"We didn't have the chance to save our home, we won't let you lose yours." Blades commented.

"Glad to have you on board, but for this mission to succeed, we'll all have to put aside our differences, and work together as real partners, understood?" Chief Burns asked, looking at his 3 kids.

Julie turned, ready to leave, determined to reach the tunnels and secretly cool down the lava. She wouldn't reveal her powers if they didn't see her.

"That includes you, Clara." Chief Burns cried behind her. Julie turned around at the mention of her new name.

"What can I do? My help is unwanted here, and I am not first response material, clearly I hide in the woods too much." Julie replied, wanting to get a point across. Normally she wasn't one to wallow in self pity, but she needed them to let her go alone if she was to do her own part under cover. Not bothering to turn around and face them, she took off in an urgent run, heading for the woods, determined to reach the tunnels and save everyone under cover.
