Forever In Strife : Transformers Rescue Bots

Chapter XXIX

Julie was currently chilling out with Boulder, Heatwave and Chase in the bunker, as they all were just chilling. Heatwave was punching his training pole that spun and had several arms on it to hit, while Boulder was painting, and Chase was reading a book.

Julie smiled as she was just laying back enjoying herself with the peace and quiet, sitting in a corner just relaxing and enjoying the calm moment. Currently Dani was with Blades, working on setting up a picnic date with her boyfriend. She had not yet tried Dani's cooking, nor really much of any human foods, but she knew from the expressions that Dani's cooking was something she was far better off skipping.

"Team, we got an emergency, Julie you're with us for this one." Chief Burns cried as he ran in with the others. "A machine acting out of order in town, headed toward the docks."

All three of the bots immediately transformed into their altmodes, while Julie climbed into Boulder with Graham. Riding to the docks where they stood outside a large garage building. Waiting for something to come through.

"Boulder, follow me. We'll cut it off." Heatwave ordered as both bots transformed into their bipedal modes. Julie and Graham seated inside Boulder, while Kade sat in Heatwave, while Chief Burns got out of Chase who transformed into his bipedal mode, followed by Blades showing up with Dani and Cody.

A laser suddenly cut through the large metal door, forming a circle that shortly was followed by a round, ball-like machine. Flying through the hole and past them, as it approached Dani and Cody. Boulder quickly transformed, startling Julie and Graham as he caught the orb with his claw, smashing it onto the ground to stop it in its place without destroying the machine.

"Back off and I'll smash it." Heatwave yelled.

"Stop!" Someone yelled nearby, getting their attention as they saw the orb fly toward the man, landing by the person's feet. "That device is irreplaceable." The man exclaimed.

"Uncle Woodrow?" Cody asked, as him, and Dani approached the person, while Graham also climbed out of Boulder and walked over to the man.

"Woodrow." Chief whispered, as he also slowly approached. Julie was very hesitant as she slowly climbed out of Boulder, standing near the bots as they all were now in their bipedal modes.

"Uncle Woodrow!" Graham exclaimed.

"Why didn't you tell us you were coming?" Dani asked.

"I can't believe it's you." Cody cried.

"Uncle?" Blades whispered.

"Human term for sibling of a parent." Chase explained. "In this case..."

"Chief's brother." Boulder finished in excitement. "He didn't tell us he was coming to visit."

"Or that he existed." Heatwave commented.

"Wonderful." Chief Burns muttered under his breath, before resuming walking over to where his kids had gathered around the man.

"I'll answer your questions. Just let me look at you a second. Cody you've grown a foot, now you'll need three socks." The man chuckled, looking at the little boy. Julie merely sighed, wishing she got to meet more of her ancestors and family. Leaning against one of the bots as she crossed her arms over her chassis. Frowning at the thought till she was startled by the bot moving, looking up to see Chase lifting her up in his servo and setting her on his shoulder for support and comfort.

"Thank you Chase." Julie mumbled as she leaned against the side of his head.

"Did you kids get my postcards from Dwarma? Or the scorpions I sent from Ecuador?"
