Forever In Strife : Transformers Rescue Bots

Chapter X

It has been a week since she had last seen the team, or should she say since they had the chance to see her. She had been avoiding everyone and everything for the past couple of days. She thought that since she already learned what it was like to be a team, she had learned everything she needed to, but this team constantly confused her, not to mention the stress of worrying about messing up the butterfly effect of her past, or keeping her identity or self a secret from everyone.

Currently she had found a river on the island, where she had slept in the riverbank, wearing a new outfit, it was homemade just like her favored one, but instead it was all black, going with Cody's idea of her being the 'Shadow Knight.' She truly did care for the kid, she didn't understand how she had such a softness for the kids, between Raf, Miko and Jack, to Sari, and now Cody. She liked kids, but she doubted she would be able to handle a baby with ease. Sitting in the river, the previous night there had been a storm that broke the bridge, but instead of simply leaving the river, her instinct told her to stay there, so she slept in the river through the night, before come morning, she could see above the Rescue Bots, and the others were working on the bridge.

Shaking her head and sighing, she laid her head on a rock, while the rest of her laid against the soft sands, before she heard the sound of splashing, looking up to see two men, one she didn't know, but the other she immediately recognized to be Kade. Both knocked out of it, urging her into action instantly. She worried that Kade hit his head on a nearby rock, as she swam quickly toward them, throwing Kade over her shoulder. Using a rope to secure him to her, while she swam after the other man, who wore a black helmet. Grabbing the man, she struggled to keep both of them above the surface, as she looked to see the three of them were approaching some rapids. Looking around the area, she saw some large rocks. Subtly using her powers, she had the water around her push her over to the rock against the regular rapid current, giving her the boost as she pulled herself up onto the rock, both men tied to her with her rope, as she climbed onto it, looking over at the bridge to see Heatwave, Chase, and Boulder on the bridge, looking at her in what was probably surprise and worry.

Looking around, she saw a tree leaning over the water nearby, getting her attention as she grabbed a second set of rope, lassoing it, before she threw it at the tree, grabbing hold of a branch, by using the wind to cheat in tying the rope securely around a thick branch. Double checking that both men were secure to her, she grabbed the end of her second rope, making sure she had a strong grip, before she simply jumped over the rapids, using the momentum to swing herself back and forth, before managing to sling herself up onto the same side of the river that the tree was on.

Landing, she untied the two men, hearing the Rescue Bots heading for the three of them quickly as she started to do some compressions on Kade's chassis, working on removing the water from his lungs. As soon as he woke up, she quickly moved over to the other man, starting work on him, as Kade was slowly gaining some consciousness, but due to the possible concussion he had, it may make things a little harder for him. She could heal him quicker if he desired her to, but she had to do that back at the firehouse. "Come on, work with me." She mumbled as Chief Burns, Graham, and Dani showed up around her.

"Clara, how are they?" Chief Burns asked.

"Kade's gonna be alright. He may have a minor concussion I can easily treat back at your firehouse, but this guy I can't get to respond." She mumbled as she continued to do compressions, before going back to mouth to mouth. Taking a breath, she put her mouth over the victims, as she puffed two one-second breaths into his mouth, watching as his chest rose, before giving another two breaths. Once she did that, he quickly was sitting up, coughing the water out of his lungs to the side, allowing her to relax as she stood up and backed away from him to reassess Kade, who had Dani and Graham looking him over. Chief Burns helped the other man get up, before helping him into Chase's alt mode, in order to take the man to the doctor.
