Julie felt very strange today, like there was something that was about to happen, but what? She felt a sense of fear and trouble run through her. She was currently pacing around the hangar as everyone was leaving or doing their own thing. Heatwave left with Kade to go see his girl he liked, while Blades and Dani were out flying. Chase was doing his usual, studying rules, while Boulder and Graham were working together on engineering studies. Cody was up in the comcenter. Yet Julie couldn't ignore the urge of danger and the foreboding feeling she kept getting.

"Julie come with us, Doc Green has something to show everyone." Cody cried, running up to her.

"Very well." Julie sighed as she ended up going with them.

"A time machine?" Chief Burns asked as they all sat in a hidden chamber.

"Is this wise Doc?" Julie asked, the foreboding feeling growing as she sat there. "I worry something bad is going to happen."

"You didn't find this on the best left forgotten shelf did you Doc?" Chief Burns asked.

"You sure this thing will hold up? The tech is ancient." Kade commented.

"But the science is still sound." Doc Green replied. "All the temporal station lacked was an energy source powerful enough to activate it. The scientists in the 30s simply couldn't turn the machine on, but with nuclear energy we can. At least long enough to send a test subject through."

"Who's the guinea pig?" Dani asked.

"Dither." As a yellow, round robot came floating toward them.

"Doc, are you sure that's a good idea?" Graham asked. "What if your helper bot does something in the past to alter history?"

"I've programmed Dither to not interact with anyone he meets. Besides, the temporal station's controls are set to August 17, 1939. The date the scientists stopped working on it."

"So no one should be around to see Dither appear." Chief Burns commented.

"Precisely, Dither can zip in, gather data, and use his own nuclear power source to return home."

"It all sounds pretty safe." Cody mentioned.

"No, it doesn't sound safe. I have a very bad feeling, Doc. Even the slightest alteration in the past can change many things in the future. Believe me, I know." Julie spoke, looking at them. "Please, this is not a good idea."

"Why does Doc want the rescue team here?" Cody asked, interrupting her.

"Something bad from the past could come back with Dither." Frankie replied.

"Firebot, vehicle mode." Chief Burns ordered. As Heatwave transformed into his alt mode. "Cody, Frankie, climb inside." As the two kids got in, before Heatwave transformed back into his robot mode. "Bot mode please, the rest of you be ready."

"Is everyone prepared to face the past?" Doc asked, holding the glowing green vial of nuclear energy. "Powering up." He spoke as he slid the energy into the machine, before turning it on. A portal opening up in front of them. "Dither into the portal."

Julie watched as the robot went into the portal, before a bolt of electricity hit the four bots, causing them to disappear as the portal closed.

Julie felt something very wrong, as she felt herself stumbling on her feet, before she fell down hard onto the floor. Her mind elsewhere, as her conscience left her being.

"Julie!" Chief Burns yelled. "Doc, turn that thing back on."

"I can't. The explosion destroyed the controls." Doc Green replied.
