Chapter XXVII

"Dad!" Cody yelled, running towards his father as they entered the new portal.

"Daddy!" Frankie cried as both kids hugged their fathers, all 6 robots watching the reunion.

"Cody! We've been so worried." Chief Burns mumbled as he hugged his son.

"You won't believe what we had to do to get back here."

"Welcome home, squirt." Kade commented, rubbing Cody's hair.

"Can't wait to hear all about it." Dani replied.

"Time traveling, I'm pretty jealous." Graham mentioned, as he rubbed his chin.

"I missed you more than you'll ever know, Daddy!" Frankie mumbled as she hugged her father.

"Trust me, my little einstein. I know." Doc Green replied.

"Thank you for bringing our kids home safely." Chief Burns spoke, as he looked at the bots. "Now we need Julie to wake up."

"Mission accomplished." Chase replied in a robotic tone.

"Why are you still talking like that? Everybody knows you're....oops." Frankie cried, before remembering her father.

"Do you mean there's more to these Rescue Bots than meets the eye?" Doc Green asked. Causing the four rescue bots to panic. He bursted laughing, before hugging his daughter. "Just kidding. Chief filled me in." Doc Green cried, before they all heard someone groaning. Turning to where Julie was laid on a blanket near a wall, slowly sitting up.

"Ow, what...what happend?" Julie asked, sitting up and turning to see everyone, but what stuck out the most was her seeing Optimus and Bumblebee.

"What? Optimus, I can explain." Julie cried, standing up and looking at him.

"There is no need to explain, Julie. I already understand." Optimus replied, looking at her. "How are you feeling?"

"I...I feel..." Julie stumbled, thinking about everything, before she felt memories flashing into her mind. Causing her to stumble as Chief Burns and Kade both ran and caught her.

"Julie!" Chief Burns exclaimed, as he looked at her.

"I...I remember...you guys saw me get tortured by Dr. Morocco." Julie mumbled as she looked at the four Rescue Bots. "I'm so sorry you had to see that." She looked down at the floor, as she remembered the pain. "I was a monster, I killed those people when I attacked them." Julie mumbled, "Morocco was right."

"No, he wasn't. You were defending yourself. You're not a monster, Julie." Heatwave cried, as he kneeled down near her and looked at her. "You're a member of our team, you're a hero. Dr. Morocco was wrong to treat you the way he did."

"Bumblebee, did you tell Optimus?" Julie asked, looking at Bee.

"No, he didn't. I figured it out myself, after knowing about you being the Descendent of Primus. Primus must have several plans in store for you." Optimus spoke, looking at her.

"Optimus." Julie cried, as she ran toward him, watching as he crouched down for her to climb into his servo. As soon as he lifted her up, she hugged his chassis. "I knew you would understand. I knew it. I've missed you so much, Optimus. If only you knew." She mumbled hugging him.

"As much as I don't know about the future, I believe you have a fair reason to have missed me." Optimus spoke, looking at her.

"You have no idea, Optimus. Even if you don't know everything about me, I still have missed seeing you. I wanted so badly to reveal myself the day Bumblebee showed up. Yet it wasn't in the will of Primus for you to see me yet." Julie mumbled. "You kissed me, in the past. Why did you kiss me, Optimus?" Julie asked, looking at him.
