Julie didn't understand what was going on the past several days. She constantly was feeling tired, but it didn't feel like some ordinary sickness. Ever since she fought off Unicron deep below Griffin Rock, she worried that somehow she now had been tainted by his Dark Energon blast she took for the team. She had no idea how she would fight off the corruption, but she knew there had to be a way.

When she was on her last mission, she remembered when Primus helped cleanse her of a small amount of corruption in her spark, but he told her he would only be able to do it once, that eventually she would be corrupted by Unicron and have to face it on her own to overcome the evil substance within her own spark.

How does one cast out the devil from their own soul?

"According to local legend, numerous griffins once roamed the islands off the coast of Main. A male griffin made its home on top of a rocky peak of the largest island where it turned to stone for a long hibernation. This gave the island its name, Griffin Rock." Cody spoke as Julie stood nearby watching him and the other three kids he was with. Trying to be the adult to make sure they were okay, while she stood there close by.

"Ah, that's only a rock shaped like a griffin. Earning this lad pioneer folklore badge is lame." One boy spoke.

"Let's see how close we can get." Cody replied, as he took the lead, climbing up a long mountain trail. Julie walked beside him as they climbed up the trail, the other three boys behind them. "I think he spotted us, we need to protect ourselves."

"Now you're talking." The same boy exclaimed as Cody pulled out a slingshot and picked up a rock. He aimed it right toward the top of the mountain as Julie saw it jump off a rock, before flying upwards and hitting the griffin sitting on top of the mountain.

"I call it the ricochet." Cody explained.

"I think you woke him up." The boy cried as the mountain around them started to shake.

"Earthquake." Julie cried as she grabbed the four boys and ducked underneath a large boulder with them. Waiting as the ground shook for several seconds, rocks sliding around them before it finally stopped.

"Cody, get off the mountain and watch out for rock slides." Chief Burns spoke on Cody's comlink.

"I don't see any rock slides, but I do see a flying car." Cody cried as they saw the other three pointing at a red car flying toward the tip of the mountain, stopping for a second, before it shortly was falling down right towards them and the kids. Julie grabbed the four kids, two under each arm as she jumped off the cliff, all four of them holding onto her tightly as she slid down the rocky cliff, before ducking underneath a ledge, using her body to protect them in case anything else happened.

Once the car fell down onto a road below them, the sound of Chase was heard as they looked to see the police car driving up with the sirens blaring, Chief Burns climbing out immediately. "Come on, boys. Let's get off this mountain, before anything else happens." Julie spoke as she directed them down a path toward Chief Burns, Chase, and the now damaged red car sat.

"Anybody hurt?" Chief Burns asked.

"Were okay, but there isn't any driver." Cody spoke, looking at his father.

"Dani, see if you can locate the Rubios. Their car just tumbled down Mount Griffin without them."

"On it Dad." Dani replied.

"Hop in boys, I'll take you home. It was a good thing Clara was here to make sure you weren't hurt."

"I'm gonna head back to the firehouse on my own, Chief. There won't be enough room for all of us." Julie spoke up, as she pointed her thumb in the direction of the firehouse.
