"Skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardio..." Maya moves her hand from the book to reveal the word. "Cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive..." She covers her eyes. "...urinary, reproductive...reproductive...reproducti..." She slowly widens the gap between her fingers, trying to see if she can remember before she cheats. She takes a peek. She exhales frustrated. She reads the word and smacks the book onto her head. "Lymphatic. Bushet." She groans and puts her book down.

She picks up her phone and opens Instagram. She scrolls and stops when she sees a post from Jasmin, one of the girls she was staring at earlier. It's a TikTok video she made with some of her new friends, dancing to Blackpink. She copies the link and sends it to JR.
