Maya zips past a large group of students exiting their classroom. "Excuse...excuse," she says, as she passes by three more people. She looks behind her to see if Mariz is still following her. She looks at her phone again.
There's a Facebook post in a page called NDHS Confessions.
She and Mariz share a worried glance.
Finally, at the end of the corridor, they can see Pamela with Gabbie and Hamza.
Pamela is lookin at something on her phone.
Hamza and Gabbie see them approaching, both have somber faces.
Maya sighs. "Nakakita na mo?"
"DID YOU GUYS SEE IT?"
Gabbie nods.
Hamza is sitting against the railing.
"Pam?"
Maya and Mariz walk towards her.
She looks up at them, biting her lower lip, trying not to cry.
"Awwe. Baby girl." Gabbie puts her arm around her.
Mariz clenches her jaw and crosses her hands.
"Kinsa nagpost ato?" Maya asks the girls.
"DO YOU KNOW WHO POSTED IT?"
"Ambot gani," Hamza says as she scrolls through her phone. "Anonymous man nakabutang."
"NO."
"IT JUST SAYS ANONYMOUS."
"Basi'g atik lang na," Maya says.
"MAYBE IT'S JUST A LIE?"
"Nganong apil man sa listahan si Pamela kung atik? Full name pa gyud." Mariz says. "Kung kinsa man ang nagpost ato, kaila sila kang Julio."
"I DOUBT IT. PAMELA'S NAME IS ON THAT LIST. HER FULL NAME."
