I sat on my phone, staring blankly as I refreshed my Instagram feed. I smiled when a text message slid from the top of my screen. "They're here." Read a text from my mom. Our mom, technically.
I raced down the stair, grabbing my Jansport backpack and a suitcase. I nearly fell down the stairs, I was so happy. My brother was here to pick me up for his tour. "Pete!" I screamed, dropping my bags and running to him. I smiled broadly. We walked out together onto the tour bus. "Pete Wentz 2.o! Hey!" Joe got up, taking my beanie off my head. He held it above me, making me jump for it. "You're almost as short as your brother." He chuckled, tossing my beanie back.
I shoved it in my head. "Okay, ready to go?" The driver asked. "YAAAAP!" Joe whooped, walking dramatically from the lounge. "Hey October!" He yelled, seeing me. I smiled.
I sat at the table across from Patrick as we drove. I was so happy to see my brother and the rest of the boys from Fall Out Boy.
