Transmigrating to the Beastworld

After an especially exhausting day of work, all Iris Hart wanted was to go to sleep. Thus, she climbed into bed, not even bothering to change into pajamas, and fell asleep right away.

A warm and wet sensation similar to the feeling of a dog's tongue lapping against one's face was the first thing Iris felt as she began to awake. Startled awake, Iris pushed at the thing licking her.

When she opened her eyes and saw a giant white wolf on top of her, Iris couldn't help but let out an ear-piercing scream.

"Oh God! Please don't eat me!"

The next thing Iris knew, the pure white wolf in front of her began to glow in a frosty blue light before transforming into a naked man!

Iris couldn't help but think, 'I must be dreaming!'

"Shh! It's okay, don't be frightened, little female. I'm not going to eat you. Are you lost? Where is your tribe?"

Iris stared blankly at the handsome man before her. She couldn't help but feel confused at the turn of events and as to whether what she was seeing was real.

"Did you see a white wolf just now?"

The man before her looked similar to the wolf with soft white tufts of hair and dazzlingly blue eyes. He was still stark naked and she could see EVERYTHING he had on full display. Every muscle was well-defined and his skin was pale with only a light tanning. His skin was very smooth and only a tattoo on his left hip stood out from the rest.

This tattoo appeared to be of a wolf howling with three stars above it. The whole tattoo was in an icy blue color and looked quite incredible due to its exquisite details.

The man above her gave a deep chuckle as he finally chose to answer her previous questions.

"As you can see from my celestial beast tattoo, I am an Arctic wolf. No need to worry, even if there were wild beasts about, I can protect you, little female. I am a three-star beast after all!"

Iris looked down at her hands in thought. There are only two possibilities, either this man before me is insane and I quite possibly am too or I've transmigrated to a world of beast people.

"If it's alright with you little female, I'd suggest we head back to my tribe now until we can get you sorted out."

With a nod, Iris quickly agreed but was immediately surprised when the man picked her up and started to jog off into the forest.

"Hey! Let me down, I can walk!"

The man merely chuckled at her as he explained "You'll hurt your feet on the sharp sticks and stones if you walk by yourself. Plus, it is quite a distance and it will take too long if we walk at your pace."

Iris couldn't help but feel indignant at how full of himself this beast seemed to be.

"What do you even know about me? We don't even know each other's names, yet you feel qualified to decide what I am capable of?"

Seeing the cute female in his arms look so adorable as she pouted angrily, the man couldn't help but smile to himself.

"Of course, I should have introduced myself earlier. I am Caspian, an ice elemental three-star celestial beast from the Arctic Wolf Tribe."

Caspian stood proud with his chest puffed out as if wanting to show off. Iris giggled a bit at his need to show off.

"I'm Iris Hart and I don't have a tribe....."

Iris was very nervous about admitting this as if Caspian would know right away that she wasn't from this world. However, Caspian just sadly looked down at the little female.

"Was your tribe destroyed during a tribal war? Perhaps that explains why such a pretty female as you doesn't have any mate markings?"

Iris just nodded hoping that revealing less would allow her to live safely in this new world she is still coming to terms with.

"Very well, I'll take you to my tribe's witch doctor and tribal leader. Since I'm only the tribe's best warrior, I can't make the final decision. However, I'll keep you safe from now on."

Iris gave a worried smile as she pondered what to do if they turned her away. The forest here looks similar to those from her hometown but a lot lusher and fuller of plant life. As someone who lived in a small town in the countryside and had a love for learning, before transmigrating, Iris was familiar with many plants.

Still, the weather was a bit chilly and there was a layer of morning frost on the ground suggesting it was at least fall if not late fall. As Iris was a newcomer to this beastworld, she had nothing but the clothes on her back. It would be rather difficult to build a warm enough place with sufficient food by the time winter got here.....

On the Patreon, we are already a third of the way through the fourth volume! Since there is only meant to be five volumes to this series, that means we should be done in another eight months. Of course, the release schedule is much slower here on Wattpad, so it will likely be another two years for you all, but it should be reassuring that this series will be finished soon enough and you'll be guaranteed a proper ending. So, please give it up for the following cub and beast tier members!
