Rick came back to check on us and Glenn told them about the run he was going to make with Maggie and Rick left again.

We were walking through the prison clearing it more, I was with Daryl and Carl, Daryl was telling Carl a story I had heard before.

Carl spoke up about shooting Lori, and I kept my head down, I slid my hand into Carl’s and gave it a squeeze.

We kept moving and a walkers came to attack, Daryl and the prisoner both shot at it, Daryl killed it.

We made it back to cell block C and Maggie and Glenn were still gone, but Rick was back.

Rick walked right over to the baby and held her, I stood up with Carl and smiled.

We walked outside, Beth, Hershel, Carl, Rick, and I were getting some sun with the baby in Rick’s arms still.

Rick handed her off to me and I stayed with Hershel and Beth until shooting started, Beth took the baby and I helped kill the walkers.

We went inside the main cells while Rick talked to the girl, he soon joined us and locked the door.

We walked into the cell block and Carol was there, she was happy to see all of us, even the baby.

We found out Glenn was took by a piece of shit, and I was obviously going to head out.

Carl was watching her closely his hand flinching for his gun “Carl were heading out, help us load up” Daryl called and I followed the group out.

“I’ll be back, I promise and I’ll be careful, as careful as I can be” I made a pink eye promise to the boy and he smiled hugging me tightly “you better be” he punched my arm and I smiled.

“Look, here’s how this is going to go, we don’t kill anyone unless we have to, the most we kill is the guards on the wall, they are the biggest threat, after that only kill if necessary” I explained the plan and they nodded “got it” Daryl said and I nodded looking out the window.

We got out of the car and decided on moving on foot for the rest of the trip.

Daryl kept me in front of him so he could keep a close eye on my, and so I was in the middle of the group.

A board came and we ran inside a building that smelled like shit “let me push out, I can draw them away” I whispered and Daryl shook his head “immune or not, they take a chunk out of you, your dying” he whispered back and the banging got louder as this guy started to yell, eventually we killed him.

We threw the body out the front and left out the back.

We were close to being in, we watched the wall and waited for the perfect chance.

The woman directed us another way and we followed.

We got into a building of sorts and a guy came in, I was wishing I had stayed back, that was until commotion happened and we ran in.

We threw in gas and ran, we grabbed Maggie and Glenn and kept going.

We had to get Glenn out and get him safe, our car was a couple miles out and we could run him out.

We moved out the door staying in formation, they were shooting and we shot back.

We ran and got over to a bus, the prisoner was shot and he fell “Maggie get up now!” I yelled and she climbed over, Rick finally came running and Daryl didn’t.

We just got out and the girl was back, I was scared and in pain, mainly from the jump over the wall, adrenalin was running off and I could feel the blood coming from my arm, a bullet grazed me just barley.

All I had of Daryl’s was his stupid leather vest that he carried around “I’m going back in, I have to find Daryl” I took a run for where we came from and made it in.

“Hey! Where are you supposed to be?” a guard asked and I shrugged “I got lost, it was just scary” I gave some fake tears and a sniffle and he soon led me to this fighting arena.

I shot a walker in the head, then another and the guard behind me, everyone yelled and I shot out the lights only for the team to join me.

I grabbed Daryl’s hand and pulled him along “get a move on!” I tell and we made it back to the wall.

Soon I made it back to the car, everyone behind me “stop arguing like children!” I tell throwing a punch at Merrell taking him to the ground.

Daryl pulled me back and Rick knocked Merrell out “if the prick knew how to shut up his nose would be fine” I huffed ripping away from Daryl, grabbing my arm and walking away.

The group was debating what to do and I decided to stand back with the girl.

Daryl turned to leave and I ran forward grabbing him “you can’t leave me, don’t leave me, your all I have” I begged and he looked down at me “you’ll be fine on your own” he grumbled and I hit him “I have been dependent on you after everything that’s happened, that day when you said you would be the closest thing I’d have to a dad I believed you, so please don’t turn away from me, not after I started to trust you” I started to cry and he wiped my cheek “I’m sorry, be strong for Rick, Carl, ass kicker, Carol, be strong for everybody” he ruffled my hair and I nodded getting in the car.

The car stopped and I was left to watch the woman “if you tell me your name, I’ll tell you mine, our secret?” I asked and she smiled slightly “Michonne” she huffed and I smiled “I’m Y/n, nice to met you” I shook her hand and the group came back.

Carl opened the gates and I got out before the car was barely stopped and hugged him “are you ok?” I asked and he nodded “what about you?” he asked back and I nodded.

We got up to the entrance and everyone went inside.

“how you holding?” I asked Glenn and he smiled “no better than 5 seconds ago” he joked and I looked back at my hands “sorry” I mumbled and he sat up “Daryl didn’t leave because of you, it’s not your fault” he took me into his arms and I let out a sob instead of words.

“he told me I was strong enough to be alone, but I’m not, Glenn” I huffed wiping my eyes before leaving.

I was just kind of out of it for the rest of the day. I followed everyone around like a sick, lost puppy.

I was no help.
