Beat by a Girl

*Octavia's pov*

It's awkward.
We decided to take different cars because there were quite a few of us. My group includes Oliver, Zelda, me, Marco, and Damon. This sounds bad.

Anyway I begged Damon to let me drive, he caved but he's in the passenger while the twins and Marco are in the back.

In the other group, it's Lorenzo, Marianna, Lucas, Clayton, and Angelo.

I notice Angelo driving so I quickly tell Damon to call him and Bluetooth the call on the car's speakers, he looked confused but did as I asked. As soon as Angelo answered he asked what was wrong. I smirked and asked "Wanna race to the mall?" he quickly rejected my offer but I wasn't having it.

"Angelo, darling are you scared I'll beat you?" I knew I pushed a button and he finally accepted my offer.

While the twins and I are smirking, Damon and Marco look horrified. Hmm weird.

We pull up to the end of the gate and the guard counts us down.

As soon as I heard go I pressed on the gas and weaved through cars, I knew exactly where I was going i'd been there before.

I let Angelo get ahead of me for a moment to let him think he was winning, he let his guard down. By then we were close to the mall so I pressed on the gas, zoomed passed him, and parked before he even made it in.

As soon as the car stopped Damon and Marco jumped out like their pants were on fire looking a little pale.

I'm not even a bad driver. Angelo got out of his car and walked up to me. I must say he didn't look too happy.

So obviously I had to say "Haha bitch, you got your ass beat by a girl" and I turned around and gave Oliver and Zelda high fives while the rest of the family looked at us amused and some looked amazed that I beat Angelo.

I know who he is, I know he is the 2nd best racer in the underground. But he doesn't know I'm the 1st best racer.

After my little victory moment, I noticed all the people staring at us.

Girls looked at the boys with lust and money-hungry eyes and the boys looked and me, Zelda, and Marianna with the same looks.

The bios were getting glares for being near us females but we females were being glared at by the gold-digging whores.

Oliver got in the middle of Zelda and me, putting his arms around our waists and pulling us closer to give the people a hint to stay the fuck away from us.

The bios looked at his hands and glared at the one resting on my waist but I don't care, Oliver is practically my brother.

When we got to a quiet place I asked them about the game plan. No one knew so I thought maybe I can go with the girls and Oliver could go with the boys.

I looked at Oliver and raised my eyebrow and he shrugged and gave me a small smile kissing me and Zelda on the top of our heads.

Everyone was glaring and then looked confused so I spoke up. "The girls are going with each other and the boys will go with each other, everyone be at the food court at exactly 4 pm. Is that good with everyone?"

No one protested so the trio (me, Zelda, and Oliver) hugged each other and left.

We were walking around aimlessly until I saw a Victoria's Secret store. I looked at Zel and she agreed then I asked Marianna and she too agreed and I think she was excited.

Anyway, we went in there and I found some really cute lingerie sets. I loved the black one and the emerald green one.

We all grabbed some stuff and checked out, as we were walking around I see the place I can get my sleeping pills so I quickly texted Zel to stall Marianna in the women's section and talk about tampons, pads, shampoo, I don't care anything.

I quickly went over to the desk and gave the worker everything she needed to give me my medication. I quickly grabbed it and thanked her putting it in my Victoria's Secret bag.

I felt someone staring at me but when I looked up I didn't see anyone. So I hurriedly went back to the girls.

Zel saw me and I smiled and asked what they were talking about. Marianna looked confused.

Zel said never mind and we left the store and went into a jewelry store. I saw a necklace.

I loved this necklace the moment I saw it.
It was Medusa. I knew if I got this Mariana would probably ask questions as Medusa has a well-known meaning so I carefully placed it down before she saw it. On the back of the necklace it had a quote that said "she fixed her own brokenness"

I might come back later for it.
After a few hours of shopping, we all met back at the food court.
Lorenzo and Marianna went and got everyone's food while we "kids" chose somewhere to sit.

We chose a table in the back corner. We can see everything around us from there. I still have this feeling of being watched so I look around again.

This time I meet his light green eyes that look a little dull as if he lost himself. We stared at each other for a while until I felt Oliver flick my forehead which cause me to punch him in the arm.

When I looked back Mystery Man wasn't there.
I pushed it to the back of my mind and began to eat. The brothers were joking around while Oliver would add some comment that made them laugh even more which made Oliver laugh.

Zelda and I see he has a crush on Angelo, we look at each other, back at them then back at one another, and smirked.

We finished up our food around 6 pm and decided we should start heading home.
We drove back to the house in the same cars we came in and when we got to the house we all instantly went to our rooms.

I'm guessing everyone was exhausted. I put my bags down and decided to unpack them tomorrow. I went back to my Victoria's Secret bag though and pulled out my sleeping pills.

After I took one pill I laid down and fell into a dreamless sleep.
