Star Guardians Vs. The Slasher Part 3: Chapter 30 Arc 3

Narrator POV

Y/N felt the sharp wind cut through the air as he was slowly watching the sharp edge of the blade go right over his head. He breathed deeply watching the slow moving away from him. The fear set in within his mind, but despite that his body still moved.

Y/N: (It's not that fast... I can see it... I can do this.)

The world went back to normal as bursts of thrusts from the sword arms were sent his way in a flurry of strikes. It was just as fast as Akali was dealing with, but he moved beautifully through them.

The Slasher blasted by as he was trying to get as close as he could before dealing the final blow. But, he was not fighting the same person, he realized the strength of his opponent, the fluid motions of their battle, the footwork, was something to be marveled at.

Y/N back flipped over the next flurry as the Slasher went for a back kick at his shin. Y/N simply placed his foot against the leg that was going for the kick as he blasted off the leg and went over the large creature. He landed behind him as the slasher laughed and moved faster towards him.

Slasher: My little hero grew up~ Now I get to play with him for the rest of his life!

Akali was stunned, she watched the quick movements and was surprised how fast he was moving, and just how precise the movements were. Akali knew that Y/N hadn't even been a Star Guardian for more than a few weeks, at most, so she was taken aback by the fluidity.

Akali: (So this is Y/N, hell yeah!) Y/N, here I come!

Akali rushed forward as Xayah was already preparing her feathers. She shook the tears from her eyes as she could now see everything in front. She sucked a big breath as she launched the feathers as quick throws.

Akali was already there as she leaped into the space of the slasher. He took note of Akali as the sword went out and morphed back into a regular hand, right as it caught Akali at her left leg.

Slasher: Not now, sweetie~ I am playing with the other hero.

Akali: Creepy ass weirdo, what do you think this is a game!?

Slasher: What else would it be? ~

Akali squeezed her fists tight as she Y/N ran up and leaped up before spinning into a hard kick right onto the slasher's chin. He grimaced a bit as he threw Akali back and she slid against the rooftop floor. The Slasher felt his chin with his now regular arm as he laughed a bit and looked back to Y/N.

Slasher: Now... Where were we? ~

Xayah: (That kick hurt it, but it wasn't enough for any sustainable damage. Akali is good at ending fights quickly, and I can prolong them, but since Y/N is the only one who can dodge his attacks rapidly, we will have to rely on his own tools.)

Y/N leaped back as the slasher followed through, the sword on his left hand now widening out, and becoming what looked to be a broad sword. The slashes got worse as now the attacks were less predictable, almost like wild swings in the dark.

Y/N was already moving against the attacks as he slid underneath a wild swing as he kicked the back of the slasher, which sent him back slightly, but not enough to deter his steadfast bloodlust.

Xayah's feather went across the rooftop as they just barely missed the target as he moved quickly towards Y/N instead of taking much note of the others. Akali got back up as Umi was now the Kama in her left hand.

She rushed towards the giant creature as he was now too busy with others within his space to make full frontal assault on Akali, who was already within his space.
