Maximoff Beach House Residence:

"Mom! what the hell?!"

Wanda curiously looked at Milla with a confused look on her face. "What?" Wanda said, her mouth still full of her breakfast of bacon and egg omelet.' "I saw everything!" Milla said exasperated.  "Saw what?" Wanda said standing up from her seat.  Milla then showed her a visual image of Wanda kissing her variant. "Oh.." Wanda muttered. Milla rubbed her face with her hands and then showed the redhead the runes the woman vowed many years ago: the magical bonds, blue strings of runes that signify dimensional bonds (Chapter 23). Well, that's stupid of you, Wanda… Wanda thought she forgot that she was the one who carved those runes to the girl which allows her to sense her. Other than adjusting to the 'new normal' in Earth-222 she needs a refresher on her past shenanigans. You carved those runes for her, of course, she'll see! Next time block the signal when needed! Wanda held a mental note.

Wanda could see how Milla is starting to get impatient with her. Milla scratched her head irritably. Wanda felt crestfallen as she watched the teen fly upwards. Wanda stood up from her seat and went outside, she saw the teen headed to the business district of the city. Likely heading to Vasilisa and Mortianna's office. Wanda flicked her fingers - (the table fixed itself and the dishes went into the dishwasher). Throughout the morning the redhead tried to distract herself by doing her work at the café. While doing so her mind lingered on her mini squabble with Milla. She felt like she disappointed her. No matter what she does, she just can't seem to catch up. Since moving back, everything seems to move faster than normal.

Seaside Café

The small coastal town reality of Earth-222 has transitioned into this industrial seaside hub in a span of six years. Hell, she even got three orders mismatched this morning! "Hey…" Said the head barista of the café who gazes at her with concern and understanding, "You're new here. Take it easy, you'll soon go with the flow," He smiled. Wanda calmed down, "Thank you," She said appreciatively. The head barista asked her to go home to take a break, which she gladly accepted. The redhead took off her apron and left. The redhead imagined how hard it is for Milla to cope without her, how the child, now a teen, has to constantly keep up with the expectations around her during her absence. The quick-flowing tears, physical exertion, and the irritability she could feel in Milla's presence.

Coastal City Metropolis

Wanda sighed as she looked at the view of the metropolis. She is likely going to see her aunts. I want to give her some space but I also need to talk to them. Without a second thought, Wanda flew towards Vasilisa and Mortianna's building which is located in the fancier areas of the city; all sleek glass windows with colors of black, white, and gold - the epitome of high living and luxury. Wanda looks around the Conglomerate headquarters, Vasilisa and Mortianna have pretty much upgraded the craft beer trade here with them governing its marketing and sales work. They have the liquor department, architectural grub, and media publishing under their business portfolio, the factors that keep Earth-222's industry metropolis rolling (Chapter 32). They may not be one of the politicians of the realm but they "sure" knew how to play. And what way to keep the money flowing is by looking good. The receptionist's desk told her that Mortianna Maximoff is currently at the publishing hub of the building. "Have you seen a teenage girl drop by?" Wanda asks hopefully. The receptionist smiled, "Yes, ma'am but she left earlier alongside Miss Vasilisa." Wanda nodded. The redhead glanced at the elevator and went there. When the doors open she is met by huge posters of magazine covers, model shoots, printed advertisements, as well as announcements of book releases plastered on the bulletin board. The printing presses moved at a fast pace as they simultaneously circulate everything in packs. Everything looked so vivid and colorful! And heavens forbid these print campaigns! All seducing; was designed to titillate; extreme strategies were required if you wanted to attract attention within the pages of already stuffed glossy magazines!
